london - nightout/night clubs

planning on doing a weekender in london soon but dont really know wheres the best places to go, is there like a street where theres a few clubs (like wind street swansea ?) is london any good ?

i was up there last tuesday night,went to Ronnie Scott`s in Soho, if you like soul/jazz/funk would recommend a visit there.
