You don't remember correctly because Dai Webley never played for St.Albans and his goalscoring ability was mainly at Merthyr as injuries cost him a chance to transfer to the Jacks.
His record for Merthyr is as follows:
1987/88 = 35 (League 30 - FA Cup 1 - Welsh Cup - 2 and another 2 in the friendly against Malta)
1988/89 = 58 goals (League 33 - League Cup 5 - FA Cup 6 - FA Trophy 4 - Welsh Cup 1)
1989/90 = 26 goals (League 17 - FA Cup 2 - Welsh Cup 1 - S Wales Cup 5 - SL Championship Match 1)
1990/91 = 17 goals (League 9 - FA Cup 2 - Welsh Cup 4 - S Wales Senior Cup 2)
1991/92 = 22 goals (League 20 - Welsh Cup 1 - S Wales Senior Cup 1)
1992/93 = 8 goals (League 5 - League Cup 1 - FA Cup 1)
1994/95 = 13 goals (League 12 - FA Trophy 1 there was also a goal in the match against Enfield which was abandoned after 81 minutes and therefore doesn't count)

GREAT DAYS!
