So much has changed since then. Just wondering if it makes you feel sad, irritated, thankful, nostalgic etc

If we won that game we would probably be in the Premiership in blue now.

Can't watch it, it brings back too many bad memories, we had a great trip up but coming back down the M4 that night was like traveling home in a hearse!

We'd have been dicked in the prem, understandable that we needed money at the time but we'd have been embarrassed, DJ would have gone for hasbeens, we'd have fucked up and all just take the Prem as a one off, under Malky if we get there we have everything set up for long term sustainability

If we won that final and got relegated from the Premiership straight away, our parachute payments would have put us in a much better financial position and we would probably still be in blue now. That defeat was the start of us losing our identity.

I was talking about the football side of things not financial, long term stability I meant, we have a good balanced squad, in 09/10 we had all sorts

From a football point of view, you are absolutely correct about our long term stability under Malky. Malky has brought in loads of young players who's valuations will only increase further while they improve playing for us.

Exactly, but we needed promotion in 09/10 but I can't help but feel we'd have been close to the end there, we were paying some players silly money i.e Chopra on 20,000 a week and that etc, we'd have given quite high promotion bonus, not saying it won't happen here but we're sort of getting to being a well run club(bar losing our badge and our home kit colour)

with their 2nd, it again highlights Marsh's main weakness as he tries to punch everything. :(
