Malky Almost Ready to Quit

Tue Nov 20, 2012 2:36 pm

In his Search for loan aquisitions amid more injury problems.
http://www.footballcourier.com/news/sto ... ation.html

Which Begs the question; "Why not get cover when he had the chance?"

Loan window has been open for a while now and before that the transfer window.
Malky knew where the squad was weakest but failed to act.

Could cost us...
Has it already?

I dont think so, I think we have cover even if it does mean moving a few people around.

People said we were desperate for loans last season but our form up until January was pretty decent

Malky at Watford had excellent Pre Xmas and a dire after party.

He did pretty well last year but as you say it was better Pre Xmas.

We cannot afford to fall away after Xmas this year.

Maynard Bellamy mutch Smith Turner Connelly Taylor McNaughton, Gunnarsson....

Big players, all been out injured

We are still second

I cannot see another side in this division with a catastrophic injury list like
that coping very well. We are.

Malky does not like to bring in loan players because they upset the balance and the
well instilled team ethic. I agree with him

The key will be strenghening in January IMO. I would think the more loans we get in now the lower the pot will be in January.

We have Frei in on loan which IMO has been a waste of money as well. We have options all over the pitch, we may have to move a few players around in defence from time to time but we can manage.

Perfect points. Add to that the fact that you'd be hard preceded to find any team that would loan out players of the quality that could replace ANY of the players you have named.

I do not understand the clamouring calls for loans or signings that would come in as cover. Why bring in worse than we currently have when better is coming back from injury.

i think John and Nugent will just step in! they might have no or very little experience but they got to start at some point in time or they'll just waste!... Malky doesn't like bringing in loanees because he's all for the team chemistry and doesn't want to ruin it! Malky knows best, we are here cos of him so trust his decisions :ayatollah:

I think fullback is the hardest position to loan in, they have to be sinc with defence as well as know the attacking players and how the wide players play. We had a few players in on loan in recent years who have failed, JLS, Alan Wright, Dean Gordon.

in central defence Nugent was excellent against a good Boro team going all out attack, I dont think he deserves to be pushed further down the pecking order.

Your headline is sooo annoying to read! Just because Malky ain't signed anyone during this loan transfer window period, you think that Malky is almost ready to Quit?!?? Stop being FOOLISH.

As I speak Malky have just loaned:

Simon Lappin (born 25 January 1983) is a Scottish professional footballer, currently playing for Premier League side Norwich City. Born in Glasgow, Lappin has previously played for St Mirren and Motherwell and was capped 10 times by the Scotland national under-21 football team. He is a left sided midfielder who has also played at left-back and in central midfield.

So is he is "almost ready to quit" and is he failing to ACT now!? Stop being FOOLISH
