For generations, Welsh people, in large numbers, have not spoken Welsh. Sad but true.

Its only small minded people like you that would class it as a Rugby song, it was never written as a Rugby song, and its the chorus that Is really good and could have beed written for Cardiff City, as it tell of the hard times but we are still here. Egg song ! for god sake grow up . & as for the english Mr Glass , it make no difference what the Welsh language was like years ago, and if it was left to plastic Welshmen like you, it would still be in trouble, but the truth is so many people are speaking Welsh now , and more and more are learning it all the time, and so many parents try like hell to get there children into Welsh school.

I'm Welsh, you stupid, ignorant, sad excuse for a man. The word "glas" is Welsh for blue, if you weren't a "plastic Welshman" you would know that.

Get out there and learn something, there's a big world out there and it doesn't involve people from Wales hating people from England, so why don't you grow up?!!

In fairness to WCD the young Whipper Snapper it is a good tune but not a footy tune I'm afraid. As Waddle says its more of egg song and would be well suited to a packed out millenium stadium full of pissed up egg chasers watching the boys as in all fairness they are far better singers than us football chaps. Would send the hairs on any true Welshmans arms and neck up and maybe even a tear or two.

As for the Welsh Language itself, great expressive language for poetry, singing but f**k all else really.

If these comments about the growth of Welsh are true why did the Welsh Language Board issue a report in February 2012 saying that the number of fluent Welsh speakers in Wales is declining at the rate of 3000 a year?

In order to secure more money from the pretend politicians down the Bay perhaps?

Chairman (probably chair in case it upsets the good folk of WAG) of the Welch Language Board
"Dew Butty, we is loosing a lot of the Flob speakers like, init 3000 a year I red on the interweb look you isn it. Yoo bedder stump up some more cash init like so we can spend it see"

Chairman MaoTse Ap Stalin ap Hitler ap Vlad ap Ivan go go goch Jones (Leader of the Welsh National Socialist Party, occupier of the biggest desk and only person authorised to have a fountain pen)
"I say my good man, whatever are you blithering on about, one has an important engagement with Polo Pony on Clapham Common this evening, that's in London you know, so be quick there's a good chap"

"not you Sludge, errm Polo Pony I mean, errm this riff raff chappy fellow me lad, what does he want?"

Sludge, the leaders erstwhile, often forgotten but never ignored, true bastion of complete nonsense but has the odd good idea every three months or so.

"Croesy, errm Boss, sorry, the chap obviously needs a good leathering, may I take it upon myself to give him one, too much of these right wing guardian, daily mail readers comming round begging for money sir, I'll sort it, cost around 4 million english pounds though sir"

Leader
"Oh just give the fool the money, its probably that TLG fellow, we need to keep an eye that one, he doesn't speak flob though does he?"

Oberfurher Sludge
" Erm no sir, he doesn't but he's is eloquent in the engerlish language and a bit of a rotter."

to be continued....maybe

Its a llanelli rugby / folk song..... you have more chance of singing a Chinese number than this.....

We have a local song

When the coal comes from the Rhondda,
And the water's running fine,
With my little pick and shovel,
I'll be there!
When the coal comes from the Rhondda,
And the water's running fine,
With my little pick and shovel,
I'll be there!
I'll be there! I'll be there!
With my little pick and shovel,
I'll be there!
When the coal comes from the Rhondda,
With my little pick and shovel,
I'll be there!
On the gallows number nine,
And the waters running fine,
With my little pick and shovel,
I'll be there,
on the gallows number nine,
And the waters running fine,
With my little pick and shovel,
I'll be there!
I'll be there! I'll be there!
With my little pick and shovel,
I'll be there!
When the coal comes from the Rhondda,
With my little pick and shovel,
I'll be there!

Rhondda coal made Cardiff what it is today- we are one.

We should jazz it up from the little camp version we play.
