No applause, no booing from me - unless he acts like a total tosspot, then he'll hear me!
No egos in our present team, so he wouldn't fit in. If he grew up a bit and stopped falling over so much, then he might be useful.

Bothroyd had more good points than bad points, he was never the same for us after his England cap, became too big for his boots in my opinion, although saying all that, he was a great player for us at times.

Overall Jay was brilliant for us - of course he had his bad days and if he had been 100% consistent he would have been in the Premier league and not with CCFC - and he deserves better than the usual panto villain booing. He'll get none from me or our group. It'll only wind him up anyway, so what's the point?

Big clap, one of the best players we've had for 4-5 years easy, behind only maybe Whitts.
It wasn't his fault Dave Jones didn't get cover for him, or adapt so he wasn't integral to how we played.
The "wasn't the sar after the England cap" crap is stupid. He was injured after that for quite some time, then he was still like joint top scorer for us for he rest of the season (starting from that point). Big mistake for both him and the club to let him go.
