PR

Agree that the attendances are down and should be better but looking today at attendances around the country they are poor. More and more people have to work on Saturday and those who enjoy footy also play it during the afternoon on Saturday. In addition it is expensive for many. However with the club doing so well a far more effective PR machine should be seen. Investment needs to be put in to cranking up interest and eye catching advertisements via papers, leaflets, tv and most certainly the power of the local radio. They should be in our faces in the last three days leading up to the game with free hot dogs for the kids and a reduction in beer prices an hour before the game to help crank up the atmosphere. Past players should be prominent wandering underneath the canton and ninian stands an hour before the game meeting fans and motivating them rather than in the hospitality areas in the Grandstand. In other words get the PR machine to work for you so the atmosphere and numbers are there when the team comes out. Its not rocket science. You sell your product. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
