THE ''BURROUGH''

Sun Nov 18, 2012 2:46 am

just got back home tonight, after watching a bad newport loss and met 20 boro frontline lads in town after the game who are staying for the night in newport.
all they said was they came down friday and set off to your main pub at 12 this morning and whoever was or looked like lads bottled it LOL
SOUNDS like the phillarmonic recalled when we ran you all over your shity city(hartridge rfc) all county lads as you knew and i wont mention the OWAIN swimaways, or when you shite yourself against merthyr in the welsh cup final!
just to remind the old boys the petrol station on the next street around from the ninian pub. you who were there will remember lol
our pub the hall of fame never got done. Even the older frontline lads who came 2 newport in the 80's when it went off big style in maindee said top newport firm and they heard all about italy lol
but not to embarass you too much and i did say their was a few jacks and a few wrexham frontline(didnt like that, they said there's only one frontline)who grouped up wihh us to give the dole crew the runabout
ps i didnt mention the pre season friendly at spytty park or what happened in the corporation hotel beforehand :ayatollah: lol

You can tell he really IS from Newport by the total illiteracy of his post...even the title being wrong!

Can we have that again in the Queen's English please, ncfc?  :ayatollah:

They're football fans, not servicemen. Grow up. The level of immaturity still in football and the attitude towards violence in relation to the sport is embarrassing. We all know these people would never do or say anything on a normal afternoon yet somehow because the booze is flowing or the drugs are out and about they feel invincible.

All the boys from the riverside tavern are the kings of the terraces. Thats because no one else has terraces. Your support and your city is an utter joke. Newport is a rough ass place full of thickos and pound shops. The fact you have come on here claiming all your famous battles against cardiff makes you look so sad. With the constant supply of knob heads coming from one of your shanty council estates your club will most certainly have a problem on their hands. Why dont you put more effort to support your team and get promoted. Your manager would appreciate it if more of you turned up at your rented home.

Nobody even responds to the part where NewpErt lost again. Shows how much we care.

And Milan??

Caned. Wrexham would never fight against Cardiff, too many mates. Swansea swerved it.
Newport got proper fucked up.

The Soul Crew died well over 10 years ago, its all a myth now. Secondly no one drinks in the Borough.

I've never gone past and seen City fans in there, even when we've had 25/26,000 at the ground. All our fans drink in Canton

Funniest of all is that it would seem a few of Boro's top faces WERE drinking in our pubs..

With our lads.

Thats how it is nowadays

Except in Mogadishu-port

Absolute bollox. I called in the Borough at 1 o'clock to drop wages off to one of my boys, there were no boro lads in there then, before or after, and as others have already said, no Cardiff lads use this pub anymore.

Re: THE ''BURROUGH''

I think the last time anyone used the borough as a 'lads' pub was Wales - England 2005.

Good mix of Valleys and Wrexham.
