Today's ref

Was absolutely horrendous!! Some of his decisions were shocking! My personal "favourite" was when Bellamy was brought down by Bikey (I think) in the box and the decision went AGAINST Bellamy!!
But despite the ref's incompetence, that was a good, gritty display from the lads against a tough Boro side. If we are to go up this season, more performances like this will be needed, especially away from home.
I also thought today's attendance (of 21500) was poor considering the importance of this match. But unlike previous home games this season, our fans showed plenty of passion, particularly in the second half. Without a doubt the best atmosphere we've had at home so far season! it's still by no means brilliant, there were periods when the place felt like a library, but it was a massive improvement.

the bellamy - bikey one was strange, bikey fell over the ball and it should have been a corner.
we had a cast iron penatly in the second half (a decision that cost me 150 quid)
one of their players should have been sent off in the third minute, and the number 7 should have got a second yellow at the end of the game. overall i havent seen a ref that bad for a long long time. the only positive was it didnt cost us the match, and it helped make the atmosphere better!!

The ref was a clown.
Should have given the whistle to his guide dog. Couldn't have done any worse.

How he never gave a penalty when mason was brought down in the area was almost beyond belief.

You hear of bribing going on all the time in a lot of business' today's performance from the referee makes it all the more plausible. Now I am not saying today's ref was bribed, but some of his decisions would have to bring into question of what might go on in the world of football.
In the space of 10 minutes and one point, I counted 7 hand balls by boro players and not one given and for the whole of block 112 to stand up to a man, woman and child and clap when no one was given that free kick only goes to show how bad he was

when he eventually gave us a free kick in the second half the whole of the ninnian stand gave the ref a standing ovation ...and from then on the atmoshere was quite electric ....sadly the ref ereeing standard we have to put up with is becoming consistantly shit

To beat agoodteam like Boro and the Ref can't be bad !!!!!, Worst Ref ever, and we had a few bad uns this season and last.
Now 2 away wins is a MUST
