Saw a lot of people at half time saying stuff like "Wonder how many Boro will score with two youngsters in the back four" etc. But have to give it to them both... Nugent made his debut in arguably the biggest game of the season so far and Ralls made arare appearance in a position he isn't familiar with, and they both put in excellent shifts and did the job. The whole team were quality, never stooped trying and gave a proper gutsy performance. Love it

Credit to our Captain Mark Hudson as well, kept the young lads going and all credit to them didn't look out of place at all. We got a young Declan John to come through as well who I hear is pretty good. Excellent all round performance today, can't fault that and I even heard some atmosphere. We have a manager who has built a team so credit to Malky and as you say Joe a gutsy performance.

Have to agree, Hudson always looked like he was supporting them. Exciting young prospect with Declan John aswell and as you say the atmosphere really got going.

Yes well done Ralls and Nugent also what good signing Connolly has proved to be. Popped up with another goal and solid at the back not forgetting Marshall who also did well today.

Great performance from them both tonight, actually credit to the whole team... some people by me were moaning about Huds speaking to Nugent. tbh Nugent proved me wrong I was worried every time he touched the ball, 2nd half he came out and I thought it was Turner

When Nugent entered the field of play I thought he was gonna shit himself and pass out. The occasion looked like it would over awe him.
But give him credit he put in an amazing shift.

Nugent can be extremely proud of himself tonight - the lad did great. It was a real "baptism of fire" and great credit to the whole team for a battling performance.
Having said that, I think Malky should have pre-empted today's rash of injuries and brought in some defensive cover in the loan window. Thank God there's no (first team) game on Tuesday night!
