Aren't there copyright laws for things like this?

Did city ever play in Croatia? Could Carl have had a night off?

There is uncanny resemblence for sure !! what a player he was I think he had 1 call up for Wales should have been a lot more. I think his testimonial may have been against spurs around 6,000 there. Great player and now possibly lives in high cross newport and works as a sparky :ayatollah:

I shouldn't find this amusing, but that's the second 'blast from the past' picture I've seen in the last few weeks and in both pictures, City were in red.

I think the last one was a programme someone posted.

Just another random observation.

not at all, I remember that picture being taken like it was yesterday, it was against Stockport County when we were in Division Two.

If I remember correctly it was called the Endsleigh Division Two then.

HAHA

Him and Stant, a great strike duo thought they were both fantastic players in their day :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Carl dales Testimonial was against aston villa 1999, villa won 3-1 (dale scoring from a penalty) stone, merson and julian jochim scored for villa with a crowd of 3500 odd, was a good evning

Carl Dale was my favourite ever City player. He was small in stature but had so much heart, fight and spirit. He would take a kicking off a big brusing centre back and come back for more, then eventually get the better of him and score. He was a great goalscorer and would have gone on to bigger and better things if it wasn't for his bad knee. The one season, Dale and Stant both hit 28 goals as we won the title. He also formed formidable partnerships with Chris Pike and Steve White. I used to love those days, they are days that will never be replaced or bettered imo. :ayatollah:
