Graham/Sordell

Thu Nov 15, 2012 3:39 pm

Putting prejudices aside these players are out of favour and similar in style to Maynard. Would you try and get them in on loan or even make an offer to buy them? They are both fit young goalscorers who Malky would get the best out of. Both could cut it with the City in the Premiership as well. Views :ayatollah: Gents?

I could potentially see malky going for graham, they get on from their time at watford.

Out of interest, who was the last player to go direct from cardiff to swansea of visa versa?

Warren Feeney from City to Swansea on loan?

Before that, I can remember Dave Jones signing an awful goalkeeper (Italian, maybe) who signed a contract with City and went straight to Swansea...

Back on topic, I would love to see Sordell here. Can't see it happening, but he led the line very well for Team GB when he did play in the summer.

I have the nationality wrong - it was Mark Howard. Signed from Arsenal back in 2006, but was loaned out to the Swans pretty quickly.

They may be out of favour, but the Jacks haven't go a lot of striking options and I can't see Bolton allowing Sordell to come to a promotion rival!

Bolton are in the shit 136 million in dept with an unastainable wage bill it was a well known fact in football circles that Bolton had to be around the auto position after the first quarter of the season or they were in BIG trouble the fact is they cannot survive hemorrhaging the amount of money they are at present so a 1 to 1 1/2 million bid would by no means looked down on.

Putting aside bias or anything, could you conceivably see Graham sold to us in January?

Sold? Possibly.

To you? No.

Not unless you offer us silly money.

i couldnt see Swansea wanting to sell him, but Graham would probably think about it cos 1) start more games, 2) work again with Malky

Can't see it happening even as a loan and certainly not buying him. Not sure why we would want to buy him as we have Maynard to come back and if we were promoted then we would want better
