And now, they're currently £136 million in debt! I wouldn't consider Bolton one of the more extravagant clubs, it just goes to highlight once again how financially, the Premier League isn't all it's cracked up to be.

The point I'm making is that there are some people who think you will get to the Premier League, and that will solve your debt problems.
Football wise, it's the place to be, and the reason we all follow football is to see our teams do the best that they possibly can.

I was just beating no smoking to it as inevitably he'll be all over this thread.
It may help in the short term though increasing your TV money from £1m to £40m certainly would help.

But then as the atricle reads unless your spending £ 400million like MC, you just become a mid table team (if your lucky) making the numbers up.
I see our situation similar to that of Westhams last year where it was either spend or go bust. Its about getting the balance right between players wages, income and or selling players at a massive profit, whilst still being competative. Easy really

From next season , because of the new improved Sky deal , the club finishing bottom of the Premier would expect to receive about £72m rather than Wolves` £40m for last season . That `s compared to the £3m that CCFC currently receive as a Championship club.
Bolton have traditionally overspent on player wages to try and buy short term success on the pitch. e.g. last season their wage bill was over £55m (from memory it had been even higher in the past).

You're right, the money next season is going up to crazy levels, but once the players, agents and other hangers on get their mits on it, all it will mean is that it will cost even more to be just remotely competitive.
