Last season he always looked good on the ball but something was missing from his game, he didn't seem to possess the drive and desire to be a top top player. This season though the lad has improved no end and i would be willing to put my neck on the line and say he will be in our starting 11 on merit WHEN ALL THE SQUAD IS FIT by the end of the season and that there will be clubs queuing up to sign him

Don't Agree with you sorry mate. I know he's still quite young but he is no where good enough for our 1st team and no where near good enough if we are looking for promotion.

Maybe in a few years he might become better, But he's no Arron Ramsey.

You're entitled to your opinion but i went to watch the lads train today and there was no doubt that he was the stand out player. His touch and use of the ball are excellent but he also seems to have strengthened up and i thought he was excellent saturday against a strong hull midfield 3

Considering Ralls hasn't played much first team football this season he looked very comfortable second half! We're talking about an 18 year old who is comfortable at this level that's impressive at his age! I think he's a premiership player of the future,for those who say he's no arron ramsey not many players are as gifted as Aaron but it doesn't mean they can't go on to be a very good player in the premier league or championship! Definatly one to keep on our books

I'm thinking more of a 4-5-1 to be honest mate, with him, whitts, mutch in the middle and kim and noone wide. Shit that leaves bellamy out! We've got too many good players!

So i'll have to say it will be between him and mutch (like you say, if mutch ever gets fit)

With a fully fit squad Ralls wouldn't be anywhere near the first team. that's not saying he ain't any good as I think he is going to have a very bright future. we just have so much depth in midfield that a loan spell until the end of the season will be best to help continue his development, I think next season we will be seeing him a lot regularly as Malky clearly has faith in him

THIS! Ralls is a great young prospect. He keeps the ball well and has an eye for a defense splitting pass. Definitely think that in time he will be a big player for us. However, for the Boro game I would start with Cowie as I think he has been decent in the middle this season.

Cowie but I rate Ralls and wouldn't be concerned if he played.
