as we know we need cover in defense and possibly a striker so thought i would see who was possibly available.

defence -
michael mancienne - former chelsea and wolves defender currently at hamburg . not getting much game time in germany and was seen as a future england international .primarily a right back .

sebastien squillaci - arsenal defender out of favour at the emirates but would shine in the championship

stephen kelly - fulham right back , rep of ireland international struggling to get in the fulham team but a great attacking full back

luke young - qpr full back out of favour with mark hughes

wes brown - sunderland c/b former man utd defender loads of experiance not playing much this year


strikers-

connor wickham - sunderland striker struggling in prem league quality in championship , sunderland have said they may look to loan him out this year for experiance

cameron jerome - stoke striker currently 5th choice could be going to blackburn on loan

john guidetti - man city striker , scored 23 league goals for feyenoord last year just recovering from serious illness great young talent who needs game time

sammy ameobi/ shola ameobi - newcastle strike brothers currently out of team selection

ettian velinkonja - slovenian u21 star currently in no mans land somewhere in south wales .

Vaz Te, Le Fondre - attacking loans.
J Robinson, J Brayford - defending loans.

Michael Owen’s latest hamstring injury has wrecked Cameron Jerome’s hopes of escaping his Stoke nightmare.

Championship sides Leeds, Bolton, Blackburn and Wolves all want the striker, 26, before the loan window shuts next week.

Jerome has played just four times this term but, with Owen out for two more weeks, he has to stay at the Britannia.

cant understand why no club has made an approach for conor wickham.. or none that we know about.. obviously fallen out with martin oniell and sunderland are not exactly setting things alike and only have 1 player on the scoring sheet this season..

think he would be a good player to bring in on loan...

most of them are at clubs who dont pay huge wages and with loans it depends how deals are done regards to wages ? was it realistic for us to have bellamy 2 years ago whilst on 90k a week ? they are all realistic and would all do a good job in the championship ! who is realistic to you ?

Alan Hutton. Seems to have been deemed surplus to requirements at Villa having fallen out with Lambert. Would be a quality signing if we could get him on loan for a month or two.
