I stood and shouted 'what a cross!' before Hudson connected, you just knew it was going to end the right way

For me Hudson was Man of the match and we were murdering Hull until Kev had to go off. My fear is without cover at fullback we will struggle. However saying that when we get our players back we will take some stopping. If they were 4th in the league we steam rollered them in the first 20 minutes or so.
Lets hope we can get Mutch back for next week. Saturday needs to be a sell out so come on guys lets make the difference next week.
Carl can you please make sure the Echo hilights the fact that we need every supporter to turn up next week for the Bourgh game.![]()

THat was the first time we got in behind hull on that side and it was a pearler of a cross hit with pace and power. Hudson's finish was pure quality and it is good to see our defenders getting in on the goal scoring act.

He also put in a beauty in the first Half with the outside of the boot for the header that forced a class save from Amos!

Great little dink that one, Mason got the glance..........now you've mentioned that, it's got me thinking Amos played a fair part in saving them from a battering.

Too often you see players not make an attempted shot or header because they expect a striker or defender under the flight of the ball to get something on it.
Gestede and a defender just missed attempts on the cross yet Hudson was waiting should they both fail and they did. He could have looked quite the fool flying through the air when the ball didn't get to him.
Does that make sense this saturday night?
