LOVED THE WELSH GUARDS TODAY

Sat Nov 10, 2012 7:09 pm

Helped to set the tone pre match, amazing volume and length of applause for them, and the lad who had lost two legs doing the Ayatollah and kissing the badge like a good un, made the hairs go up on the back of my neck.

After all he'd been through yet you could see how proud he was to be on the pitch with his beloved Bluebirds, great to see. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I love how the fans always give the soldiers a bigger ovation than the players.

Real heros.

Lump in my throat for the guy in the City shirt who'd lost his legs.

I hope he enjoyed the moment. :ayatollah:

absolute legend and strong as an ox.

Was even able to crack a joke with his Sgt major when it happened.

Remember his name lads - already talk of him being a paralympic discuss thrower in the next olympics.

p.s. Today's lads were Royal Welsh Fusiliers not guards. (lads very patriotic about this) :ayatollah:

I hope the club sorts out his season ticket from now on...... He should be at the tunnel as they run out at every home game. I was proud that the loudest cheer was for him.....

Pot kettle black . Mine was factual , yours is the point scorer and abusive so I will not reply to your drivel. Your post has summed you up. The title said Welsh Guards , they weren't . It's a fact Gwyn got his facts wrong ( again )
