Thank you Soul crew for a comfortable, clean, well serviced, easy to park modern stadium.

There's nothing wrong with the stadium, the jocks made enough noise as did Belgium, its the fans that have changed.

Bring back the soul crew if you want atmosphere

Damn that soul crew

Re: Lack of Atmosphere

Fri Nov 09, 2012 5:46 pm

ha, anyone mad enough to cause trouble in a ground these days are demented with the prison terms they are handing out.
the reason for the lack of atmosphere is down to the lack of banter, the Canton cannot hear the away fans and vise versa.

this and lack of accoustics to carry the sound and seating has killed it not the fans or the Soul Crew

So if you are looking for someone to blame for soulless new stadiums, ironically you should blame The Soul Crew and their imitators.

Nothing wrong with the stadium itself as noise is always made in their EVERY TIME CARDIFF AREN'T PLAYING. Why? Because it's filled with middle class long haired family hippy types nowadays.

Great atmosphere in the Canton for Wales v Scotland, shame it can't be replicated for Cardiff games.

Different type of fans Boris. The old guard from the NP days have almost become extinct due to excessive hunting by the new breed plastic fans. We knew how to generate an atmosphere back in the day and if you didn't sing to our tune you'd be thrown out of the grange end. RIP CCFC as we knew it, hello franchise FC Malaysian edition.

Gave up or forced out by the plastic army/Since 2008 brigade?

We are like the black rhinos of the Serengeti plains. Beautiful creatures that were over hunted and killed in unprecedented numbers. By the time someone realised the extent of what they have done our numbers were too little to do anything about it. Like the plains of Serengeti the CCS has lost a certain degree of charm about it with the loss of the old guard.

The 'old guard' don't go to support their team anymore, they sit in pubs talking about when they were hitting rival fans with sticks, and the worst thing is that these new fans look up to them with some sort of sad admiration...

I'm surprised that the 'old guard' could be defeated by the since 2008 brigade personally

I'l use the Black rhino analogy again. What can an angry poor Rhino do, however tough, do against a gun. That is how we feel, we have been forced out against our will.

The atmosphere is pathetic because people are too lazy to sing and chant. There were long periods in the Hull game when there was absolute silence....talk about a f*cking library! Furthermore when our fans did start to sing it was that Jimmy Savile song that they tried to get going. I just can't imagine how f*cking thick you have to be to sing such disgusting rubbish. Bring back the drummer FFS. As a group of fans we have a reponsibility to support our team and encourage them at all times but most of the time we are crap.

Fully agree!
