SO MANY OF U WOULD SACK/REPLACE MALKY AT THIS VERY MOMENT?
I am just asking the question as every time we get a defeat there are many calls to get rid of Malky.
Who would u replace Malky with?
Did Tan not make him the manager?
Are the players not Malky's?
Would a new manager want new players?
Are we still right up there in the promotion hunt?
Did many of u say u would give Malky 2 seasons?
Why would u replace him and whats the answer?
Who is above Malky to guide him?
Who in our club in senior positions knows their football?
Who still has faith in Malky?

How much more of this away thing must we put up with annis before enoughs enough though, i mean its every single away game nearly we take leads and box camp only to let other teams back in to it. Even you must see it does not work and has not since xmas.
On another note whats the breaking big news hmmmm

Everyone bleats on about the away form and he should be sacked, they forget we have the best home form in the country.....so on that logic he should be knighted....the league is based on home and away form....we are 3rd at the moment. Whilst the away form is a worry, overall im happy with MM.
What really grates me is everybody slated MM for going 4-5-1, so he goes 4-4-2 against Bolton, he gets slated for not starting Frei, he starts Frei against Charlton..........so if he tactically inept as that seems to be the "in" word, what the bloody hell does that make our fans??

Change the keeper and full backs Annis - No cover for Taylor who I don't rate one bit...Blakey was let go and never replaced?
We need that dog back in the middle aswell!

To be honest I always had full faith in Malky but now it's starting to dwindle. Its the same old excuses after every away defeat about individual errors etc etc but its never a problem at home just makes me think its the way we are setting up away from home.Im not saying to get rid of Malky but maybe we could bring in someone of experience to work along side him a bit like dougie freedman brought in lennie Lawrence.Something needs to be addressed soon as we are not going to keep winning all our home games
Wed Nov 07, 2012 9:04 am
Not me for one.

Clubs that go up always have bad spells, even those that dominate the league. I still think we have about the 10th or 11th best strike force in the division which just isn't good enough but bizarrely scoring goals doesn't seem to be our problem. Maybe the midfield's insistence on pushing forward due to the lack of firepower up top is leaving us exposed to conceding.
I still back Malky and will until the end of the season. We do need a striker though... at all costs! Whoever made the shouts for Jordan Rhodes and Charlie Austin were bang on. Who could have seen the Maynard injury coming though?
Wed Nov 07, 2012 9:06 am
People get carried away we are a point off autos with a third of the season gone, would be absolutely stupid to sack him now. I do have concerns though with some of his defensive tactics and substitutions. We have been unlucky with injuries though and hopefully this will not continue. Stick with him now and support him we are all needed as one not calling for q managers head and heaping more pressure on.

Who would u replace Malky with
Would have loved it to be Ian Holloway , But Harry Redknapp would be nice
Did Tan not make him the manager?
Didn't you not say we couldn't trust Tan
Are the players not Malky's
Some are Jones and I'm surprised you haven't blamed Jones for last night. But looking over that , Ian Holloway took Blackpool up with someone else's team . Listen to you , we have the best squad, so we have a half decent man in Charge it shouldn't be a problem
Would a new manager what new players
LOL. You keep on saying we need new players, so if a new Man comes in that isn't a issue . Since I bet 'no plan Malky' will want to bring a new player in for January
Did many of u say u would give Malky 2 seasons
Sadly with the recorded Premiership TV deal and our debt . Time is a luxury we don't have
Why would u replace him and whats the answer
No plan B, too defensive (even though we can't defend ) no passing game and a formation that is too negative half the time . And the answer ? Harry Redknapp
Who still has faith in Malky
He's a top bloke and a nice man, but he's not up to the job and his negative football is no good for our Club . He needs to go sadly

Negative, we are top scorers in the league, we are too open away if anything.

Will people please wrap up about Harry Redknapp.....plz, that should go along side the Berbatov thread as the most stupid suggestion ever!
Wed Nov 07, 2012 9:21 am
Calling for Malkys head at this stage is just lunacy, he more than anyone will know what's going wrong, if he maintains that it's down to individual errors, and they keep on happening then he has to make changes and if we ain't got the players at the club then he needs to go back into the market immediately, my worry is that this now becomes psychological with the players away from home. In Malky we trust

It's far too early to be thinking about sacking the manager, but you must admit annis, these away performances are very disturbing, i saw it at boulton and you obviously saw it last night, every time the opposition score, (and it's very often) we seem to fold like a pack of cards, one thing i thought we would never see under malky was our team collapsing under pressure but it's happening virtually every away game, we are very light in midfield without mutch, someone who is prepared to leave his foot in there, indivdual mistakes aside, (there have been plenty of them) malky, as manager must take responsibility for these away day embarrassments.
Wed Nov 07, 2012 9:33 am
no malky should stay to end of season whatever happens we have no devine right to be promoted.
although have to point out cant remember any of the recent teams to be promoted get tonked away like we are.
you can only blame the players for what happened last night if marshall had put in a decent keeper performance
this nightmare would not have happened hes a good shot stopper,
but terrible at crosses and a complete shithouse when it comes to anything physical with opponents which then shakes
the whole of the back four.
massive pressure on saturdays game now as i can guarantee some will be booeing if we dont win.
Wed Nov 07, 2012 9:38 am
the way i see things is we have 2 options and they r as follows we either sack malky and it ll be like starting the season over again as the players respect for the new manager wud not be like it is for malky or keep the faith and patience for the away form to pick up
i for one wud stick with malky but i do agree that things need to change especially when we lose good leads when we take the lead like we did against charlton last night to use ur subs well and put an extra defender on to protect the lead .
We also need to get maybe 2 or 3 quality defenders in and another goal keeper we have a good enough midfield and we have a good enough strike force as proven we can score goals if we have the strengh in dept in the defence department then malky has the chance to incourage players even more and can tell them that any indivdual mistakes will cost there place next game
i also want to say that a few people i have spoke to have said its cause we playing in blue sorry but for me its crap if we was in blue home and red away we still be in same position malky needs to set up a formation to get the draw away from home however if we conceed then play tthe formation of 2 up front and a attacking midfielder in order to get the equaliser
back to basics when playing away wud be a good start or even drop the guys that r always playing away as this no win away can take a tole on the players mind especially when we conceed one or 2 thats when they can get more incomplacent with things
Wed Nov 07, 2012 10:08 am
He didn't drop the ball or fail to mark their players.
Like us , he was most probably thinking 2-0 , they haven't had a shot on target all's well then bang we look like an under 12 team playing 11 a side for the first time and not being able to cope !
BUT he has to stop saying we need to cut out individual mistakes and learn from them because clearly we are not learning !

I dont want to see a change, the club has change alot since Malky has come. We seem to be a much more professional club, from training, to youth to diet etc
And who is out there that can do a better job?

Me, ive won the everything while playing fm12, im a tactical genius when it comes to games to get a result, never have i been 2-0 up and lost a game

So your confident Malky is the man then Annis?
Are you going to put it on record, right here, right now that hes the man to deliver us to promotion and
that you have every faith in him?
I just find it so ironic you having a go at those questioning Malky when its no different to what you did with Jones.
"Top of the league", then "Joint top of the league", now "Were only 1 point off autos", next it will be "We are in the play offs we would have taken that". blah, blah, blah.
As you kept bleating on last season about budgets this year Malky has been given the highest budget in the clubs history (somethingelse you used to beat Jones with) and should be seeing sides like Palace and Charlton off when we take two goal leads. If the last 3 away games / results had happened under Jones you would be calling for his head on a plate.
I remember we lost a cracking game away to then league leaders QPR 2 years ago and you wanted a pop at Jones. Weve just blown a 2 goal lead and conceded 5 to a team down the bottom and you defend Malky and have a go at thosr you are rightly fucked off??? Hmmmmmm.
Double standards me thinks but hey Jonesy didnt dress up as santee claus at the xmas party or pat his head like a deranged chimp.

Someone like Alan curbishley out of work a while plenty of contacts raring to get back into management and has got to prem before
Did Tan not make him the manager?
No he didn't it was a whitely appointment wasn't it?
Are the players not Malky's
Virtually the whole squad are his or players he wanted to keep
Would a new manager what new players
Probably want some additions but this squad is best I have seen at CCFC and is more than capable of delivering promotion if used effectively by a manager who learns from his mistakes unfortunately Malky isn't that manager
Did many of u say u would give Malky 2 seasons?
I never said that I believe he has two games to save his job
Why would u replace him and whats the answer
Doesn't learn from mistakes doesn't have much of a plan b picks favourites and is using players in wrong positions, midfield has no bite when we have players perfect for that job, sounds all too familiar to another manager we. Know well doesn't it???
Who still has faith in Malky
Tidy bloke works hard by the sounds done some good things ie academy side study's the psychology etc unfortunately doesn't see the plainly obvious when it matters most on the pitch
Two home games for me will decide his fate
Wed Nov 07, 2012 10:44 am
Annis this is not about sacking MM for me this is about him doing his job and for me right now he is being found wanting.
This summer he has been given more money to buy players than any other manager in our history and we turn in a defensive performance like that last night. It wouldn't be so bad if it had happened only once but add that to the team imploding at Bristol, Palace and Forest and as the saying goes "Houston we have a problem".
For me the honeymoon period with MM is well a truely over and right now I'm looking to the man to sort these issues out. Under his management we have the 23rd ranked away defensive unit in the Championship and NO club has ever been promoted carrying that label.
In the coming weeks we are due to play Barnsley, Peterborough and Sheffield Wednesday all teams scrapping for their lives and right now do you honestly believe we have the stomach to face these teams
Last night MM was saying it is "Unnacceptable" to be giving goals away like we are, in the next breath it's David Marshall would normally catch that cross and he will never let that 40 yard "lob" in again. That is MM talk for Marshall is the 2nd name on the team sheet behind Don Cowie who last night managed to give the ball away for 2 of their goals and generally ran around like a headless chicken in ever decreasing circles.
Succesful football teams attack and defend as a unit but we are failing and certain players are under NO pressure for their place in the team, or the matchday squad, and I blame MM for that.
I don't expect to see Marshall or Cowie in the team on Saturday. Do you.

Here's some answers:
1. Even though he's unpopular Neil Warnock would be my first choice. I'd also love Harry Redknapp but that would never happen. How about Di Canio?
2. Of course he did.
3. Yes they are.
4. Of course he would.
5. At the moment yes but if things don't improve away from home we won't be.
6. The spending spree this summer changed everything.
7. If after the next two away games things don't improve I think Tan will sack him. The answer is someone who will fix what us fans can see but the manager can't.
8 & 9. On the playing side the buck stops with the manager not the board especially when he's had the financial support he's been given. The board should not interfere in playing matters or would you prefer Tan starts picking the side?
10. I'm losing faith but would love to be proved wrong and Malky stops the rot.

For most of that 6 years jones sold his best players. And brought in cheap buys and free transfers yet we still challenged and the season he had big money he was criRtisced all season by Annis for budget sizing bottling etc we missed out he had to go, Mackay has had the same luxury budgets for four transfer windows now, its time for him to be questioned and to stand up and be counted and unfortunately he won't live up to whats expected come end of may and just as jones's time was up that season end so will malky's if he gets that long he needs 12/12 points next four games to get back on track and unortunately I don't think he'll get 6/12 points

Malky's ineptitude stems from the fact he failed to strengthen our defence satisfactorily during the summer . After last night's shambolic 5 ,4 @ Brizzle , 3 @ Palace & Forest the fact should now be evident to everyone . Teams set themselves up differently for home/away games & whilst Malky can take much of the credit for our superb record at the CCS he must also take much of the flak for our dire record on the road -- it is now fully his squad , his team , his formation & his tactics !
Im not sure whether City fans are tactically inept or not , in truth we are entitled to our opinions, but theres only one opinion that should influence results on the park and Malky's got it too wrong for too long !

Personally Annis I wish Malky out and someone in who can overcome this fear of failure that has got hold of the team.

I'm beginning to think a few trips to wembley is the worst thing that's happened to our fans. Some think we're bigger than Barcelona. We aren't half as big as people think we are!!!!!
