Just been down the CCS and despite an emphatic 8-0 win I just can’t take this anymore. This rebrand thing makes me so angry I just want to punch Tan in the face. I want my club back, I told myself I wasn’t going to let it get to me but it has, I lasted all of 2 minutes before rushing to the toilets where I just broke down in tears, the Cardiff I know has died. We are the bluebirds for f**k sake but play in red? I’ve got a baby on the way, how am I going to explain to him why we are nicknamed the Bluebirds despite playing in red, he’s going to grow up so confused. This rebrand thing is going to destroy my family, it truly is sickening.

I feel for you mate I really do. I won’t set foot in the stadium until we go back to Blue. It’s just the sign of the times, modern football truly is a beast and it’s finally taken this club up the backside. This is just a power trip for Tan and I refuse to conform.
PS, Fancy coming to a protest meeting with me and a few other anti rebranders? We are meeting in the Corporation at noon, we won’t do much organising we are just having a few pints and then deciding when and where the next meeting will be held.
Hypocritical anti rebrand poster:
I’m not going to support Cardiff anymore, it’s not my club it’s been ripped away from me by a big oriental bogeyman. I’d rather stab my eyes out with a cocktail stick than watch Cardiff in red. When I heard the news I vowed never to set foot into the CCS ever again, i’l attend games this season though as I had already bought my Season Ticket when I heard the news. I cannot be dealing with the hassle of a refund, I won’t celebrate goals as I am going down there strictly as a neutral. After this season then who knows, I got nothing better to do with my Saturdays. DONT QUESTION MY LOGIC THOUGH!1!11!
Pro rebrand plastic:
(insert sarcastic smiley) This again? Really? Get over it for f**k sake. Without Tan we wouldn’t have a club to support, I mean he’s the only person in the ENTIRE WORLD to be able to afford our massive debts that Peter Ridsdale racked up. It’s a well known fact that Blue is the colour of the devil in the far east and we have been shit for years and years before now, Tan realised what I have been saying for years. The reason we have been so shit is the COLOUR BLUE. We are still Cardiff City. I saw us play once last season due to me not having any money and time but that day in Wembley we were superb and it wouldn’t have been any different if we played in red. Leeds changed colour remember and they haven’t had any problems since then.
Suicidal anti rebrand Poster:
Your response makes me want to jump into the Taff and float away from this hell hole and forget about this whole ordeal. I go to bed every night hoping that when I wake up I find it was all a horrible nightmare. I hope to wake up and find that Tan, the rest of those Malaysians, the colour red and the word rebrand never existed. I don’t even sleep anymore, I toss to the right and I toss to the left, I close my eyes and all I see is Vincent Tans evil red eyes taunting me, I open my eyes and look at my wife and again I see Tans face and despite coming from Swansea she doesn’t even have a f*cking moustache.
PS Im a bit busy to come to your meeting, sorry mate. I’l do everything in my power to stop this rebrand but I got darts this week and I live in Ely so it’s hard for me to get to Canton. Il fight the rebrand my own way, i’l wear the blue with pride and i’l use my blue flights for darts, that will show those Malaysian bastards that we mean business.
Pro rebrand plastic:
Are you (insert condescending adjective)? You would rather see this club stuck down the lower leagues in Blue than see us playing the likes of Stoke and Norwich week in week out? I’ve done my research and Tan is right, Blue is an unlucky colour for us just look at our league positions in Blue compared to our league position in red? We have never been in the top division and the football league was invented in 1992 for crying out loud. Look at my other clubs Man u and Liverpool. They play in red and they have won loads of things, Red is the key to success. You are just being archaic.
Suicidal anti rebrand poster:
But Leyton Orient play in red with a dragon and look where they are you f*cking sell out C&$T. I’ve supported the BLUEBIRDS for 4784738 years and I want my Cardiff back. I was against the building of the CCS from the start, I was against the Malaysian occupation right from the very start, I was against the club selling replica shirts, I was against the club setting up a website, I was against the club inserting a screen in the stadium and now i’m against the rebrand, I will fight this to the death as without my Cardiff City playing in blue my life is not worth living.
PS At the meeting we decided we are going to make a youtube video and change all our avatars to pro blue/Anti red messages. We have also vowed to never wear red again which is a shame because my favourite pants are red but it is the sacrifices we all have to make.
Pro rebrand plastic:
That may be the (insert condescending adjective)-est thing I’ve read on this site. Just get over it, we are red and that’s the way it’s going to be from now on in. No one is forcing you to come down the CCS anymore, I haven’t been down for years due to Dave Jones and his tactics. I don’t have the time to go down right now but when we go up in RED i’l be there because I am a true fan. I couldn’t give a shit if we play in red, black, pink or purple as long as it’s not blue it’s going to be okay as blue is clearly an unlucky colour for us. Listen it’s not going to be easy for all of us, none of us want the rebrand but we are resigned to it. For instance when we go up to the prem i’m going to have to fork out another 15 quid a month for ESPN to watch my beloved redbirds on the telly.
Over reacting anti rebrand poster:
Fact of the matter is the majority of our fans are against the rebrand.
Pro rebrand plastic:
Can you even PROVE that a majority of the fans are against the rebrand? That’s a ridiculous statement to make without PROOF.
Over reacting anti rebrand poster:
What do you expect me to do? Ask every single Cardiff fan or something? Just look at the declining attendances and that’s all the PROOF you need.
Pro rebrand plastic:
So you can’t PROVE it then? That’s what I thought.
Cocky, bucktoothed, overweight, spotty know it all student tosspot:
Hey guys! I’ve just finished a poorly written, tedious, clichéd and cringeworthy blog on this subject! Read it and tell me what you guys think of it! http://www.blogsbystudentosspots.com (Insert infinite ayatollah smileys)
Poor grammared anti rebrand poster:
f**k OF TAN U FKING PRIK, I FKING HATE UUU!!!1!
Pro rebrand plastic:
Another major arguement for the rebrand is that it guarentees prem football. We can also see our club play more often too. I mean we are on TV maybe 7 times a season at most, in the prem we will be on TV like 10 times a season. I also want to see the likes of Ryan Shawcross, Grant Holt and Kenwynne Jones down the CCS week in week out. Why the f**k is this thread still here, I swear we have had this arguement 73 times this week already?
Original anti rebrand poster who has now crossed the threshold of rage:
FFS. PEOPLE. IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE TOPIC THEN DON’T POST IN IT IS IT THAT HARD?!?!? CAN’T YOU TASTE MY FRUSTRATION?! I JUST WANT THEM TO MAKE THINGS GOOD AGAIN.
Person who has completely missed the point:
Come on people, it’s still Cardiff City football club isn’t it? We still have blue as our away kit. I feel people would accept it more if we played Whitts in a more attacking role, he’s too defensive in my opinion and I feel this comes into peoples thinking when discussion the rebrand.
Person stuck in the 1980s:
Bring me back the days of smashing Jacks and Bushwackers heads up and down Sloper road. Back then it wasn’t about the football but whether or not we “Did” them off the pitch. They may as well have been playing in red back then as I was up to my eyeballs in various narcotics. Off course families and the middle class have ruined that culture.
Six fingered Jack b*stard with 40000 posts:
Haha we just beat Man United 3-0 at Old Trafford but instead of celebrating i’m going to laugh at you all for selling your souls.WALES NUMBER ONE CLUB!
Enraged original anti rebrand poster who is about to punch their screen:
AHHRHHRRHHRHR HRHRH HH f**k OFF (insert rant)
Dave Jones blaming poster:
You know what folks I can’t help but feel that this is all Dave Jones’s fault. He was too stubborn and his signings were shit despite having a shoestring budget and a transfer embargo. I mean J Lloyd? Robbie Fowler? JET? For crying out loud he should have taken us up with the squad he had at one point. He didn’t care about us fans either and he scared the kids. I’m not surprised that we had a rebrand with all the ill feeling he caused this club, we needed to get rid of the lingering smell of DJ and the long shadow he cast over this club. He was our worst ever manager despite a cup final, consistent play off finishes and good football under tight financial constraints. I will never forgive him for all the evil he brought to this club and the rebrand will go some way into helping me forgot the man.
Disgusted Moderator:
Jesus Christ people, why can’t we all be nice to eachother for once? I’m going to sit on the fence because I don’t want to piss people off and be forced to ban people who dare challenge my opinion. TOPIC LOCKED
