Typical City

To win 7 wins in a row at home baffles me to be honest. The mindset is completely wrong. The referee didn't help either.
Must win at Charlton and if we don't win then I'm sorry we don't deserve to go up. Red is not luck after all.

oh so if we lose another game then we don't deserve to go up, what we don't deserve is fans like you!

so if we lose to charlton but win every single game from then till may, we dont deserve to go up?

Re: Typical City

disagree tonight..

though we were hard done by there... we had more than enough possession in and around their box, but didnt have no cutting edge or quality upfront... we need a striker...

harsh decision for the pen, but ngog was onside for their goal.. we also deserved a pen and should have come away with a draw..

1 criticism, we sat back and allowed them to pressure us and you could always see them scoring... ours subs were made too late again to make any impact on the game..

Re: Typical City

Blackburn, Wolves and Bolton and even Leicester are ment to go up too. They are below us, does that mean they dont deserve to go up either?

Re: Typical City

Sat Nov 03, 2012 7:26 pm

We just weren't taking our chances when Bolton dropped deep. Oviously the referee played a big part in Bolton's 3 points.

What do Charlton have to offer? Boro stuffed em....We must win games against Charlton if we want PREMIERSHIP football

This has to be the joke post of the season, they get a ludicrous penalty (admittedly they had a legit goal disallowed), we don't get a cert of a penalty and their keeper saves one at the death with his face.

Thought we played quite well tonight, they had a 10 minute or so purple patch but we definitely deserved something. Positive for Tuesday :ayatollah:

Re: Typical City

But if we played well why didn't we win? Or at least take a point??

Bolton are poor
I don't even rate Blackburn and Wolves because they'd be above us if they are a good side

If you read the post I said clearly the referee played a big part in Bolton's 3 points

Yeah he did, we are really missing Maynard and Bellamy so bad. No real cutting edge or pace up front, we definitely need to get a striker in and asap

Re: Typical City

Sat Nov 03, 2012 7:46 pm

We might have that striker in Velikonja but Malky oviously doesn't think he's ready

Re: Typical City

Sat Nov 03, 2012 7:55 pm

Sorry but unless we start getting results away there is no chance of promotion. Thanks to 7 out of 7 home wins we're still up there, but it's highly unlikely that we'll win 23 on the trot at home, but the way we're playing away from home we ain't gonna get enough points. Malky's a good manager but in all honesty I don't rate him any higher than Jones, and quite a way behind Freeman. Perhaps he needs someone like Lenny Lawrence to help him out tactically.

You've just summed up my whole post, Atleast someone is making sense :ayatollah:

You said it all in your last sentence Chief that is why we lost pure and simple.

To loose so many away games do far this season is disgusting considering how much we've spent over the transfer window.

Re: Typical City

Sat Nov 03, 2012 8:05 pm

i thought we deserved a draw today against a bolton team full of quality, unfortunatly their subs made a difference and ours didn't frei should have been brought on when we were winning the game imo and its time for malky to give velenkoja a chance but over all a massive improvement on the forest game and against lesser opposition we probably would have come away with 3pts

A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.

Here are seven things to think about before you open your mouth . . .

1. You may not know all the facts.

2. You may speak too quickly.

3. You may say too much.

4. You may use the truth as a club to hurt others.

5. You may say something you regret later.

6. You may hurt innocent bystanders.

7. You may reveal your own weakness.

Good post....we get carried away sometimes, it's fantastic being top of the league, but IMO we played probably the best squad in the league tonight and. Should have got a positive result. Bolton were mine and many others tips for automatic promotion, I'm gutted we lost but saw much more in defeat tonight against a team I believe will be up there that against a mediocre Forest side in our last away game.
We will turn our away form around starting on Tues :ayatollah:

Spot on. Way too early to judge! Only played 7 games from away so far! Lost 4.. but there's still room for improvements.

i agree there is room for improvement and we will get better, we had bellamy , mutch , smith and maynard (long term) missing today, and we are top of the league, if any other club in our division including bolton had 4 of their best players missing they would struggle a lot more than we did , keep the faith fellow bluebirds :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
