Well talking to a few lads i know, you have been pretty shit in a few games and lucky to get results?however if your shit but getting results then that cant be bad.
But do you have the squad to stay up there at the end of the season!!or do you think it a case of the same old shit!

I'll never get too carried away cos as you rightly say we've been there too many times before, but what i will say is that our squad is the strongest I HAVE EVER SEEN.
Losing Maynard was an absolute hammer blow for us and I honestly thought he would be the difference between the Automatic promotion and the play-offs but yesterday we were superb, Vincent Tan seems to be catching the bug more and more and seems to be at every game and apparently we have money to spend in January so there are plenty of reasons to be optomistic.

This season is totally different than all the others.
Under Dave Jones, we were always going to bottle it and u could feel that happening a few months before the end of everyone of his seasons. If we went one nil down our fans knew we could never come back from it and everyone would give up, the facts spk for themselves, I think he came back to win about 12 games out of 120 when 1 nil down. He had a team full of bottlers.

Malky's team is a totally different type of team, a never say die and they want to win more and the players have a totally different attitude, DJ liked has beens and individuals who thought they were gods gift.
Yes we lost to Westham last season, but that was not Malky's fault, we were just not good enough and out classed end off.

I honestly believe we will go up this season and the football being played is pure class :ayatollah: , but sadly not looking or appearing like my club I have loved for 40 years, but like a Malaysian club.Thats how I honestly feel and others can not change my opinion/beliefs, which I am entitled to and wont be bullied and belittled in to changing them, I am a Cardiff fan as much as anyone else, but we all have our own feelings.

Demolotion jobs on Blackpool and Burnley and Wolves so far, decent against Leeds and Brum but poor against Watford and Huddersfield so who knows. Yesterday looked like a side destined to be champions to me - every player performed to very high levels and whilst Kimbo and Noone can rightly take the headlines for great creative play, for me it was Cowie and Connolly who stood out as neither put a foot wrong and built the platform for everyone else to perform.

You can't really count the Huddersfield game as look at the signings we've brought in since then - KimBo weren't around, Maynard (he's injured, but still), Connolly, Tommy Smith - KimBo was outstanding v Burnley and Connolly and Smith have been 2 of our best players this season.

Totally different setup to previous seasons with the main difference being the manager. Last seasons failure cannot be put down to the same old shit as you say. In fact it was a complete success considering the job the MM had to do. No one expected us to get to a playoff spot and certainly not a major cup final. However we did and this season we have been allowed to build on that. The league table is proof that the rebuild is working.

Of course it is still early and things can change. Mistakes are being made and we do seem to be having a bit of unluck with injuries. Even so its early enough to correct the mistakes and learn how to overcome our misfortunes. We were dismal last week but awesome yesterday, I feel the next few weeks will tell us if we have learnt from our mistakes.

If we show we have learn't then there is no reason why we can't take this league by storm and next season be challenging for a European place. Thats the sort of club we will prove to people we are if we get it right.

Until we cross the line (if we do) anything is possible. Personally I think we will make it as long as we don't suffer defensive injuries.

January's transfer window will be crucial. Not just for CCFC but for the other teams. I think that Leicester and us will go up with Blackburn, Boro, Bolton and 1 other fighting the play offs.

The premier league relegation battle will be between Saints, Reading, Norwich, Villa, QPR, Wigan and the JBs with it being likely that the 1st 3 in my list being the relegated clubs. Swansea need Vorm back and an injury free season and they will finish 15th or 16th.

Yes we had four of our best players out, Maynard, Bellamy, Smith and Mutch.....

We need a top draw replacement for Maynard and Malky has be promised the money needed to finish the job....

The owner Vincent Tann, is now attending almost every game and stands and cheers all game, he has got the bug and will do what is needed to take us up, this is our year, but can you still stay there ?????

All the stick us jacks give you on this board i have to say credit where credit is due top of the table. As for going up i think alot will depend on the relagated teams WOLVES BOLTON BLACKBURN if they splash out the cash they have through parachute payments in january.

This is the first time I've actually thought we would go up. Every other year for me would have been defying the odds. Even during Bellamy's last loan spell I didn't believe we'd go up purely on the basis that 1 player does not make a team. I didn't believe we'd ever go up under Jones because of his formation and unwillingness to learn from mistakes due to being stubborn.

If we win the majority of games at home as we are doing I believe we'll go up. You lot down west made your home stadium a fortress and hopefully we'll continue to do so because its the route to the Premier League. Pick up points here and there and you are well on your way.

If we spend on a couple more players in January I'll be even more optimistic.

We are going up..... we are going up........ this is it lads it's our time, just still can't believe we ain't puliing in more than 21 or 22 thousand at home. People will be clamouring for tickets towards the business end of the season and when we do get promoted the missing thousands will be falling over themselves to get season tickets for the premier league. What I say is get and support the team NOW :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Swansea lad I'll be honest with myself we have been poor away from home with a weakened side,
we've had maybe 2 fortunate results
but then thats football u can say the same about any team in the league give or take ur chances against run of play.

I'm looking forward to bolton its a huge test for us away from home and asks alot of questions of us with a key players out.
I wqnna see an unchanged team, regardless of the result, we should outplay botlon fgor 90 minutes if we're ''that good''

We do really need to start getting results away from home, i know we beat Ipswich but we were poor in that game and every other away game,if we start playing well away i think this could be our year but theres still a long way to go so lets not get carried away :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

The best team I saw in the championship was the Newcastle 09/10 team, who strolled into town to take 3 points off you. We must find this swagger :ayatollah:

we were brilliant yesterday but personally, i think we will go up but i'd rather get relegated and go back to blue, then be prem in red.

I don't think City'll coast the league like Newcastle and Reading have done in the past, but if they play like they did yesterday then they'll take some stopping, certainly.

Home performances:-

Huddersfield Town (Friday 17th August):- After a strong pre season for us we took on a good Huddersfield team in my opinion. Weather was quite a issue. Huddersfield went to Blackpool and won 3-1 so to take 3 points was excellent.

Wolves (2nd September):- A couple of new players were thrown into the action and we had to make up for a really poor away performance vs Bristol City our rivals. We let in a silly set piece but it only made us stronger as we attacked after the goal and won a penalty then managed to score a very well created goal and finshed it off with a blinder of a free kick. It was a brillaint performance and the attacking that day was different class and it give us a shot of what we were in for this season.

Leeds (15th September):- Leeds actually didn't do that bad first half and it was hard to choose who was going to win the game. Second half a beauty from Bellamy set the game a light.. Maynard was a problem all game and won the free kick then got the penalty but a poor goal given away give us the last 10-15 a bit of a fright but no well clear cut chance from Leeds was created which saw us get another win.

Blackpool (29th September):- This game was talked about all week leading up after both teams lost their fixtures in suprising fashion.. 2 teams both with great and scary attacks but from the 1st minute we attacked the game and controlled it. We dominated Blackpool and kept their key men out of the game. Their best chance came as the last kick of the game which hit the bar. Bellamy in a new strike role saw him cause problem all game aswell as Helguson. Connolly grabed a great brace and a Whittingham free kick saw us win comfortable 3-0.

Birmingham (2nd October):- A game which before played looked like a strong win after our class performance vs Blackpool. A scrappy first half saw us only grab a late goal towards the end from Bellamy which was needed to go in at the break. Another a goal which was poor to give away from a set piece saw us drawing 1-1 but the minute that goal went in, we were in search of a winner and we grabbed it and could of killed the game but went on to win 2-1.

Watford (23rd October):- A very well organised and inform Watford team came to our ground with great confidence after we were looking to get back from a poor away performance vs Forest. Watford were organised and we didn't look like we could create any chances. A goal from them from a set piece was deserved as they gave a good first half. Second half saw a very poor attitude from some Watford players leading to their downfall. 2 sending offs saw our 11 men take full control of the game and we pressed and pressed and got a penalty which was converted my Whitts.. we were always in control and if a team was going to score it was us. A few attacks led to nothing down to the final ball being played in but a beauty of a cross in the last minute which was a dream for any player to put their head was Gunnarsson who stole 3 points.

Burnley (27th October):- After a win at home leading into this game it was some confidence but we lost two key players who have been brilliant in the past games. We saw Kim Bo-Kyung finally make his first start and a very attacking Burnley team with a very poor defence came to our ground which was always going to be an exicting game. But came in a very dominant Cardiff stamped their authority on the game and controlled it from the off. A master class performance from the whole team saw 4 different scorers and some great goals and chances created. A team performance saw us dominant this game.

Heres a few write ups of our home performances to give a understanding of our form. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
