The guy is looking more and more like the complete footballer every game. That pass for Mason when he hit the post wouldnt have looked out of place coming from the boot of Zidane!
I thought Kimbo was outstanding and will definitely add to our team. His awareness and time on the ball in the last third was a joy. Him and Whitts will love playing together.
The amount of work Don Cowie put in was immense and in the last two games he has been tremendous. I think Mutch and Gunnar will struggle to get back in the team.
Mason looked more like the Mason of old, Helguson is looking better and better and Noone was on fire.
I really think this can give us a platform to go on and do sonething special. The balance of our team was perfect today and i cant remember ever coming away from the CCS so satisfied with a 90 minute performance.

Twas a cracker and I was waxing lyrical to a couple in their car on Cornwall Street, who asked me the score after the match.
As others have said, we really could've scored 8 or more, we had so many chances and just ran Burnley ragged. Some people were concerned about Charlie Austin prior to the game and I said to stick to what was more important, in my opinion, which was the fact that they had TEN more goals against than we had.
We played to our strengths, as I'd hoped we would and smashed them. In fact, after the game, I asked my son if Charlie Austin had been playing! The only Burnley player that stood out was their number 22, who was substituted late on. Fair play to him, he had run himself into the ground - terrific work rate.
