Marshall 8 - a quiet day but still forced into some very good saves, kept his concentration like a top keeper does

Taylor 7 - solid without being spectacular
Turner 7 - strong in the tackle and didnt give them a sniff
Hudson 7 - has to do down as one of DJ's top buys - quality CB
Connelly 8 very good performance

Noone 8 - caused all sorts of problems for Mills and today delivered the ball well into the box. A goal and assist.
Witts 8 - passing master class
Cowie 8 - seems to complement Witts very well, can pass and has good movement and such energy.
Kim 7 - I was nervous when I seen his name on the team sheet but did very well, hardly lost the ball, excellent vision and work ethic.

Mason 8 played well, worked hard, took players on and was a threat
Helguson 6 - held the ball up but misjudged who good scoring chances with his head.

Rudy 6 - not very good but got an assist
Gunnarrson - 7 super sub
Frei -6 looks decent, happy to get stuck in and will run with the ball


In the end I think the score flattered Burnley

Thought Noone was worth a 9 probs his best performance so far. Kim worth an 8 seeing as it was his first start he hardly but a foot wrong.

Amazing to have Mutch, Bellamy, Smith and Maynard all injured and too perform like that.

A fantastic win today really should of been 6, burnley were very poor but the bluebirds were the best I've seen so far this season totally controlled the game, much better than the team I watched struggle against 9 man Watford.

I quite surprised people are marking Kimbo slightly down, lads to was so neat and tidy, didn't make a mistake! Superb starting debut!

I was close to giving Kim an 8 but I didn't feel he performed as well as the other 3 and when judging I don't consider if its his first game or not just the performance. He massively impressed me though, much much more than I expected.

Thought Frei looked quality when he got on

Marshall (9) He was the reason for the clean sheat.. some of the odd saves he made prevented any consalation.

Taylor (7) Solid game.
Turner (7) Solid game, pisses me off with his crappy clearances.

Noone (8) Was a real handful for the left back. Good goal and hit the bar and post.
Whittingham (7) Solid.. played a blinder of a ball for Mason my word.
Cowie (8) Cowie impressed me today.. hope this performance does him well becauses he been rubbish.
KBK (8) Really played a good game and seemeed to enjoy it and solid with the passes.

Helguson (8) Won loads in the air. He done his job well.
Mason (9) He was running the show. Excellent on the ball and can run all game and cause trouble.

Gunnarsson (6/7) Great off the bench.
Frei (N/A) I like the look of this lad. He really wants to prove in his time here.
Gestede (7) He was great. Held the ball up and run at the defence.
