Lets start the plaudits for the guy then, great performance, hardly made a mistake, retained possession, neat and tidy football!
More of the same please!

Should be in the team v Bolton from what I've heard! Awesome!

Also made a couple of cracking passes in and around the box.....good game from the little man!

Looks like a great prospect, well done Malky!

His previous cameo in a home game left me worried but today he was very good.
Works hard, and has brilliant vision and ain't afraid to take a shot. He will get better as well no doubt about it.

opened up play, great vision, great accuracy
he helped keep the team ticking for ''78 minutes'' this also made way for noone to play his A game and our players more often getting the ball
I aint saying he's the reason we dominated the centre play and won 4-0 But it helped, also by setting away noone, and giving our team no weak link.
his influence for south korea was notably a big part in therm getting so far

Kimbo showed today how much time he had on the ball, his touch was sublime and he's definately destined for the Premiership, hopefully with us.

Yes, Very good today, He looked leathal around the edge of the box.

very calm footballer, always seemed to do the right thing.
cute little pass into mason in the first half, instead of laying it back mason went for goal.
Seemed to become less influential as the game went on, but he hasnt played much football recently

There were definitely very good signs about him today. He looked very calm on the ball and had some neat touches.
What I will say though is that sometimes he slowed the game down a little too much when he looked for passes instead of dribbling himself. Also our left flank looked a little overexposed first half when he was tucked inside a bit much but that may have been Malky's tactics.
It'll be down to confidence though and if he gets a run of games I can see him being creative force for us. His vision was excellent and once he's used to the pace of the game he'll be fantastic.

A couple of times he could've made a run for it himself with the ball today but decided to pass and retain possession for us which is a big thing imo. Shows he's a bit of a thinker and not so spontaneous for the time being which doesn't bother me in the slightest! Played very well imo

I also think Etien will be a good player for us as well, when he eventually makes the team.

This week one of my many City thoughts were of Kim and Etien. i.e. what gives? Why haven't they played after much initial fanfare? Saw the latter at Forest Green (I think) but what of them both? And today I saw Kimbo's first run-out and just know what Etien is going to be capable of. Malkay is setting up a squad that is akin to a terminator Model CF11 coming after you. Lock up your labradors - Kimbo's gonna get you! And then we unleash the Velikonja! In Malkay We Trust.

If Mason had (and he should have) squared the ball to Kim inside the box in the first half he would have bagged his first City goal, as others have said he didn't give the ball away and technically was very good, his back of the heel flick to release Taylor down the left in the second half was sublime.

The best thing about his game is that he gives whitts an option. Whitts foes not have to give a forty yard killer pass but plays it inside to another option
Sat Oct 27, 2012 8:22 pm
He's a very intelligent player. He does the simple things well, doesn't give the ball away, works hard, and he's not afraid to get forward and shoot. I can see why he's been called the next Park Ji-Sung. He's got the potential to be even better.

He was brilliant. Passing more than Joe Allen

Really great performance. He took the ball and lashed one wide in the first half... I was waiting for him to just have a bit of confidence and go for goal hiself. It's nice to see him gel in the midfield.
