Shameful by Chops.

He should be getting himself ready for training the next morning, especially when his manager has been sacked.

He's the one who needs to get a life, he's supposed to be a professional footballer.

He has done ALL of that Chief. Gangsters turning up at Ipswich training ground. He is being charged with horse race fixing. And his piss ups the usual suspects would be proud of that 8-)

booze and sport doesnt mix .... a footballers career is a short but very profitable one .... live the dream then get as pissed as much as you want when its all over ............. i gave up drink once for 18 months just to run for wales, its what i had to too ... if id got pissed twice a week then the next day or two`s training would be below par, times that by 52 weeks times a 10 year career and all i see is failure .... btw i did it for the love of the sport, not money!

So who wants him back?

I know it's probably a massive no, but with his current troubles a new manager may come in and want to remove him while he settles in. We need someone to replace Maynard so why not suggest we take him on loan until January.

He did his best work while with us and we do not have to honour any contract should he go AWOL again. It could be a genius move or the MSG stupid thing ever.

Is it a gamble though? I understand if we didn't go near him because of his past and the baggage that comes with him, but if we take him on loan, he could soon be sent back. It gets him away from it for a bit and Maynard apart he would be the best goal poacher at the club.

He would do more damage to the current squad if he wasnt in the starting line up. The current members might pick up bad habits from Chopra like (JET and JLS) like last time, which would have an adverse effect on the team.

I liked Chopra whilst he was at out club, but I wouldnt want him back, we should just move on!

He is being charged with fixing horse racing. Now who's to say he would not do that with football ? Would you want to chance it ? And what if he missed a sitter we would be left wondering if he done it on purpose. If found guilty his career would be finished as no one would touch him with a barge pole. We need him like a hole in the head. He is in the shit money wise and he is desperate. So no way no way hoesay.

I will always remember Footballers of this club of what they did on the pitch.

His off the field issues has nothing to do with us.

Everyone has there vices and it's f**k all to do with us so I don't want to pass comment. His problems haven't affected his form on the pitch it seems so lets stop getting on our high horses and appreciate an excellent player.

But it did effect his performance on the pitch and still does. Chops could of been a prem player and that is a cert. But now I can see him being a washed up player no one wants with no money and gangsters ending up breaking his legs or worse.

Thinking about the bloke is wasted energy in my opinion. He had a gift and threw it away for silly things. If he can't be bothered to take his profession seriously then why should anyone bother to take him seriously. I don't care what he does. He's gone now and he's only harming others but mainly himself.

Yep must admit that is the most important reason to keep him away. That Reading Play Off game still haunts me, would hate to hear there was something amiss.
