Why isn't Kim Bo getting any games?

I don't understand. There was so much hype about him before he signed about what a great talent he was yet he has hardly featured this season

Velikonja, too? If that's the case, then Malky needs some advice from his assistants and needs to go shopping in January, so that we aren't also rans again this season.

Its nice to know we have potentially 5 new players - Kim, Velikonja, Kiss, Harris and Frei to bring in to the side when others could do with a break

I can understand why he doesn't feature when Mutch is fit and we play 4-4-2 - Mutch is an excellent player and good at winning the ball and playing it forward - Kim doesn't really have so much of the defensive side.

However when Mutch has been injured I do think KimBo has deserved his chance. He would have been perfect against Watford as from what I've seen he is the right sort of player to bring some flair and ability when we are running out of ideas against a team that has parked the bus.

I can't understand why he doesn't give Velikonja a run out. He was great against Newcastle in preseason friendly, he can run like a whippet AND is strong on the ball (held off 3 defenders for his goal against Newcastle) I can understand wanting him to adapt to this country's style of play but in games when we're 2-0/3-0 up surely it cant hurt to chuck him on for 20 mins or so, but no it's always cowie that comes on.

yeah velikonja too, none of us have really seen enough of either player to judge if they are good enough. It seems clear to me that Malky doesnt like them

My guess in Kimbo's case is conditioning which is a bit different to fitness.The rigors of the championship takes a bit of getting used to.

In an interview he had a few weeks back he was settling in and learning the english language. No use playing him if he cant understand a thing anyone is saying. Remember it is a marathon not a sprint, we've got a long way to go so they'll play a part

He does need some advice if it is true they are not being picked due to not being good enough as he would have wasted 3.5 million on them.

Something isn't right and the question needs to be asked bluntly.

Why when we put in an embarrassing bid for Matt Phillips last season (who WOULD be ready to play), did we offer huge money (for a club our size) for a player who hasn't featured when we're desperate for promotion?

If Kim isn't ready, why hasn't he featured in a single development game?

Does the price we paid for Kim suggest that Malky believes hes 4 times better than Phillips? :S

Speaking to people who work in the club, they say he is class and his time Will come, his biggest problem is the language barrier. After the Watford game when those left on the bench went for a few drills to give them a lil run out and kimbo wasn't understanding the basics and needed an interpreter. We have done well enough without him, they are confident he will be a great success tho

I know, a very odd thing to say when you consider the quality at the Olympics and he made team of the tournement I think I read. Could just be a physical thing IMO

Disrupt a winning team at home and a team that is 2nd.

We have played 12 games so far we have another 34 games to go in the league. They will get played theres a long way to go before the end of the season. If we are 2nd in the league so far theres no need to rush them straight into the team. Better to get them up to speed and then put them into the team when we need the points
