Just ask someone at the gym would be easiest. They can show you the proper form and that you wont hurt yourself. Most people will be willing to help. Remember everyone had to start off at some point so dont worry about the people there

A common misconception, with people who are new to weights, is that they think they need to lift the heaviest weight that they can until their arms fall off. Don't do this. You're just hurting yourself and you'll see very little benefit. Stick to lighter weights and put more reps in at first.

I know how daunting it can be, seeing these beefed up guys in the weight section lifting your weight for fun, but like the others have said - just get in there. Ask around, they were in the exactly same position as you are now. They've got the experience and enthusiasm and would gladly help another person who shares a common interest.

Good luck! :ayatollah:

I tend to train muscle groups together ie chest and arms day 1, shoulders an back day 3, legs day 5, cardio on days off if i get time, find a weight your comfortable with an try an do 3 sets of 10 reps, reps 8,9 an 10 should be tough but u should be able to complete them, thats just me but everyone trains differently :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
