Is it because we did not notice before (terracing and more packed in) or are our supporters getting older?
Perhaps we are getting more excited by the football than in the previous 20 years.
I would have thought that the club would have installed those heart restart macines at various points around the ground.
Not expensive and an operator could be on standby to use it if necessary. Very easy to use as it tells you what to do and you cannot do it wrong.

Cheaper than I thought.
Good value for money as they will save lives. Started to see around places now. I think all doctors surgeries are supposed to have one and railway staions.

Lucky enough there was a heart consultant and doctor on that level watching the game who gave CPR until the paramedics came up. He is not out of the woods yet but the consultant said the signs are good that he should make a recovery.

Yes about a grand. They had a section on the news about them about a week or so ago and how they should be available to use more frequently and that they are so simple to use that the public can use them because they can do no harm even if used incorrectly.
