I was a seven year old living in the rhondda when the tragic event happend, i remember all the men from trehafod going over to try and help out, what an absolute waste of young life, god bless them all. RIP.

yes god bless them all.the one,s gone and the one,s that were left to carry on without lovrd ones. even though i live in cannock with no welsh blood(i had one welsh uncle ,he married my dad,s sis)i was made very aware of aberfan.my family were all mining .last year the death of those lads in the mine in swansea rocked me too.my dad used to tell me about people going over from inland durham to the coast to easington to help when the explosion happened there.all tragic.aberfan being the worst because of the ages involved.r.i.p

My Grancha was a miner at the time and went to help in the rescue attempts, God Bless them all

May God bless them all, children, and adults. I'm from Carmarthenshire, but remember it clearly. The children would be about my age now, early to mid 50s. Can not imagine a worse tragedy. Must never be forgotten, even with the passing of all these years. May they all Rest in Peace.
