Helguson's goal

Sun Oct 21, 2012 10:43 am

Absolute class! Held the defender off, swivelled and a quality controlled finish with the outside of his right foot. Helguson is a warrior, Helguson brings so much to the team and Helguson has the quality to score goals.

I'm guessing you weren't at the game. He is awful and doesn't deserve to be chose over Mason,Etien or Rudy.

Oh dear lord, I'm hoping this is a joke? Otherwise you obviously fail to see what he does for the team, you honestly believe Rudy should be starting ahead of him?

I'm not even Helguson's biggest fan but his work goes a miss! For a 35 year old he's very impressive for us

He had either drank 30+ pints and/or wasn't allowed to take his guide dog in.

he keeps going to the end and is a class act
But with one up top helga will always be a scapegoat for some sections of "fans" and media same with kenny miller last season
When rudy came on and we had two up front we looked so much better

helguson-mason up front when bellers is out for me

5 goals in 11 games, if he continues with that record thatll equal 20+ at the end of the season would you be dissapointed with that return for a 35 year old striker?

The fact that hes older should mean he wont be able to play a full 90 mins every game however that may not be the case but either way 20+ goals for any age striker is a great record in this league

Think what you want. I'm not going against Malky or Heider but I believe that he is a bench player and talents are going to waste when the likes of Joe Mason are sat on the bench.

Am I the only one who thought he was being fouled at the same time? Seemed as if he was being pulled over to me.

Was a very well taken goal IMO

Helguson will get plenty of goals with the right service.

Most players struggle being a lone striker and getting goals.

Helguson has got his last 3 goals when he has had Rudy beside him and the wide players putting good quality balls into the box, that's his game not having his back to goal.
