Hi all, thought i'd start by "thanking" that bellend of a Leeds "fan" for his actions last night,an action that will only confirm that we are universally hated, said bellend will hopefully be dealt with accordingly but the damage has been done. Now for some perspective, every club has it's idiots(us more than most it seems) but to watch Leeds away you require a membership which costs £40,so the club knows the identity of every travelling fan and are doing their best to rid us of "fans" like this, good luck today against Forest.

Thanks for the civilised comment as I didnt expect that from a Leeds fan, which proves that Leeds fans are tarnished by actions of a minority of morons and they will carry that reputation wherever they go But I honestly believe that Leeds should be restricted to 1,000 only for away games, and they should only go by organised travel. Any more trouble and then a 500 limit or a total ban for 2 seasons.

Well, its good to hear a sensible view but I've got a feeling that the authorities will want to set an example to remind all fans of what to expect if you behave like that tosser. And to boot the club itself could face sanctions because of the mindless behaviour of a few.

I'm think radical on subjects like this. I will be disappointed if Leeds don't get a points deduction for this.

A very good/fair post, over the years we've been blessed with more than our fair share of idiots and as a result, had severe travel restrictions put on us, restrictions that after many years are only now starting to get lifted, leeds hovever, seem to be able to travel without to much interference, (that will now change) as for the chanting about dave jones, it's cringe worthy and embarrassing, one leeds fan on twitter compared him to jimmy saville  his whole family, including grand children were there to hear that last night, for some reason leeds fans have a go at dave jones at every opportunity they get, if they only bothered to read his book about the matter (no smoke, no fire) then they would realise how pathetic they sound when chanting about him, i know it happens with a secton of all fans but it has to be stopped, there are far more things in life to worry about.

Errr, not quite true is it? That particular prick was apparently still on a ban (his 3rd?) and had got around this "restriction" previously by having a mate get his ticket. There's always ways & means if you're determined enough. Draconian restrictions on Leeds fans travelling should be imposed, same as we've had for years, with "bubble" games for the high profile fixtures.

Also, as the title of the post reads "Perspective", I'll give you some - if that was a City fan last night, there'd be teams calling for us to be kicked out of the league.

Didn't realise he'd been banned previously, like you say,a total ban or restricted numbers, photo id(which we had for years),part of the problem is Leeds do travel in big numbers and the home teams sometimes aim to cash in on this(it's a fact,i'm not deluded)wednesday could have given us just the top tier but didn't
