O/T Beer: Stella 4.8%

When did that happen?

My favourite tipple on a weekend is a can or two of Stella. I noticed today in Morrisons that the alcohol content has gone down from 5.0% to 4.8%. not that long ago it was 5.2% (well, 2 or 3 years ago anyway).

They don't publicise this - they obviously hope you don't notice. The Carlsberg Export has also gone down to 4.8%.

I'm pretty sure that less alcohol means less duty, but the prices haven't gone down. Evil brewers squeezing more money out of the drinking man (or woman)!

Desperado's is the way to go gentlemen! Beer and Tequila at a5.9%. Not as strong but nicer than Special Brew!

Marston's Pedigree at 5% and then switched to Southern Comfort at 35%.

I believe Stella is now a lady's drink.

Hahaha, I do enjoy a cold Stella but Desperado's chilled with a lime is unbeatable!
