agree, blake at fault also. but from a goal kick, striker should never be beating a centre back,. williams wasnt even facing the play!

Fletcher was able to having a running jump on Williams to win the header. Fletcher was always favourite to win that. Blake was sleeping as Morrison drifted off Fletcher.

williams clearly done well again there again.... very lucky fletcher couldnt connect...

Re: there you go!

Surely Williams shouldn't have been going for the header in the first place? It wasn't his side hence Blake was so far over and not with Morrison who Williams should have been looking after.

what you mean he wan't facing the play he was back pedalling to go for the header , and don't get what you mean by a striker should never beat a centre back from a goal kick , happens every game
by all means slag a player if he drops a bollock but not for simply getting beaten in the air ffs

what did you mean by "there you go " in the heading

fletcher having a field day against these centre halfs.. on the wales front, bale and allen looking really good, rest are way off the pace.. upfront we have nothing..

I'm sure Blake would have been if Williams hasn't got in the way.

think that's the main problem we have nothing up front , nothing to hit when we have the ball

We need a striker who can help create something IMO. Morrison don't cut it for me

Well said Morrison isnt mobile enough. And for a bloke whose meant to be a target man he never wins a f*cking header or holds it up

and with coleman we have no other plan , so i think we're fecked to be honest

Definetly I would have liked either Church or davies played. With Bale tearing up the wing you dont need a target man

Re: there you go!

Fri Oct 12, 2012 7:39 pm

Coleman needs to sort the two on one down the left hand side all the time

What are you on about? If you watch the replay, it was straight in line to Williams who had to track straight backwards to challenge for it. Blake was 10 yards away sleeping.

at least he's showing a bit of commitment it would have been very easy for him to pull out , but i do agree

Watch it again, Blake was just behind and would obviously have gone for the header if this so called captain hadn't bullied his way in and leaving huge gaps for Scotland.

cant fault his commitment.... if he is injured, its going to hamper is ability to jump, turn and run etc.. not going to do him any good for next game or in future for club.. also shows we have no alternative to williams offering no competiton for places.
