Yet to figure an away style of play! Pathetic post I know, seeing as we've won and we r top of the league!
Is it just me but, we allowed an average team to boss us for an hr! Final 30mins we murdered them. It worries me that we only give ourselves half hr to win this game. Fortunately that was enough to brush aside an average side.
Wot worries me most, Whitts too deep, seems the easy option to drop him there. Surely cowie or gunnarsson can occupy that role, allowing whitts to play further up field.

Nah, I know what you mean. Keep in mind, though, that we won and we've only lost 2 matches, one of which was prior to us signing a number of the current squad.

We've always had this and probably will for a long time yet. It stems from so many years where we've underachieved.

Makes me laugh how a lot of people are sayin we were lucky yet we scored two goals in open play and they punched in the only goal they had

Bellamy, Mutch, Maynard, Smith all out injured. We lacked the cutting edge we've
had all season. Noone struggled a bit tonight and Carlos Edwards really took the game
to us. Cowie sadly did not play all that well. Mason is not at his best out wide. All these
factors made for a difficult night last night. But the lads ground out a result. We will
play better and lose this season. Champions are made of games like yesterdays!!!!

Horrible performance really but three points in the bag so its hard to be too critical. I think we are still being too negative away from home as those defensive frailities for them were there in the first half too but we didn't get any crosses in. Conway changed the game - Noone had an off day, but it just goes to show how important having pace in the side is.
