Got out of Jail

Sat Oct 06, 2012 6:26 pm

Tactics and selection wise we got out of jail today against a very poor Ipswich team. Against 75% of teams in the Championship we would have lost playing like that, and Whittingham i have said before it must go down as a crime to play him as a defensive midfielder, and just to accommodate Don Cowie.
Why is Craig Conway being ignored ? He made all the difference when he came on, and Mason ain't no midfielder. I have said from the beginning Malky is a tactually boring Manager and i say it now we are standing top because of quality alone. Not because of the brilliance of Malky. He has to start learning but i fear he was lucky today but he will see it different.
But we are now top of the league so we can go into the international break in good heart, Well done Craig Conway you did well when you came on :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Why is Conway not being picked?

Bellamy, Noone and Smith were playing very well whilst Conway was carrying a knock.

Cowie played the deeper defender a lot today whilst we were 4-4-2.

Totally agree. Can't work out why Conway hasn't had a chance. I mean he's far better than Bellamy, smith and noone. Malky out :ayatollah:

Not at all. I am giving my opinion. Would we of beat or drawn against the likes of Leicester playing like that ? Or in fact anyone in the top half.
I have not got my rose tinted specs on. We have the squad, the players, all we need to do is pick the right players in the right position with the right tactics and i believe there is nothing to stop us :ayatollah:

I cleared around one hundred pounds on live bettin in the second half on three 5 pound bets. Takes MM a little while to sort things out. Also had a fiver on 3-1 at 40/1 and a couple of quid on Ipswich to draw just to get the stakes back.

Whilst we were "under the weather" first half, good to see that MM kept roughly the same game plan then when it wasn't working changed, a Plan B if you like. No offence or piss taking to Sam whose team is now lumbered with the famous DJ but what a refeshing change. :ayatollah:

We was home. We play a lot differently at home. Cant argue with home form if i do think he parks the bus to quick but that is being harsh. Away to negative :ayatollah: But thats my opinion.
