THE "10 GAME" JUDGEMENT

Sat Oct 06, 2012 6:23 pm

Well?

What can I say - 10 games buzzing!
Your Judgement on a FABULOUS start to the season.....

We all said we'll see where it's at after 10 games...

We played poor in honesty but took all 3pts.
The mark of champions.......?

Craig after 3 games, you said you failed to share my optimism of where I thought we would be as a side after 10 games, do you share my optimism now ?

After 10 games we must all be happy where we are - Top of the league :ayatollah:

Long way to go,the key will be where we are come the new year, and how the squad looks in numbers.

For now well done to MM - The players and backroom team :ayatollah:

Craig ask me after 12 games. ;)

Great result today from an average performance which is always a good sign and 6 points more than the same stage last season. :D

I've always put faith in a league table being close after 10 games to the end of the season.

Nows the tine to keep the faith.

Spot on. We can't get too complacent as still a long way to go. But if we keep it up, things will be looking goooooooood. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Looking good. Time for a rest (for some, anyway) and then we go to work against Forest. Can't wait.

My judgment call after ten games is positive,i think if Mackay can hold his nerve and play more positively away from home,we may have a good opportunity to gain promotion automatically...i started on a positive point, but being Angelis i will end on a negative point...........Rudy Gestede is not good enough at this level,if we are to be without Maynard for most if not all of this season,Mackay will have to think of another option

And my judgement call is that Malky spotted what many of us did but not you seemingly.Gustede did the job he was sent on to do.

No complaints so far with the results (and most of the performances) but wouldn't it be nice to plug the gaps from a position of strength? Maynard was a heavy blow for us but his absence can be more than compensated for by playing Bellamy up front. However when Bellamy doesn't play we lack pace and don't look as threatening. I still think we need a loan CF to cover us until January when we can buy someone. Preferably someone with a bit of height as well as pace so he could cover for HH to should he get injured. I still worry about our lack of defensive cover too. Sort out those two issues and I can't see anything stopping us. :ayatollah:

Perhaps, with your immense football knowledge Sneggyblubird ...you could enlighten me as to what job Rudy Gestede was brought on to do??

great start to the season, and probably about 4/5 points more than i might have expected at the start of the season.

Rudy was brought on to rough them up a bit, another big presence in the box. The Ipswich
defenders were lightweight and didnt cope well with it at all. He did well.

However, I do agree, and fail to see what he could bring to the team week in week out.
