NOTT'M FOREST A GOOD FEW YEARS BACK

Sat Oct 06, 2012 8:33 am

It was funny as f**k a few years back (forgive me TLG for not knowing the exact date) anyway, we had gone up in a seventeen seater, and there was a bit of a crew on there, Big Sam, Ketty, Mogs, macca, Tom, Dilwyn , merv, Morty and more that escape me.

We had got up really early, and seen a pub on the way in just on the left hand side by a roundabout, looked Ok so we jumped in, great plan, good nosh, good swig and there was a game on the telly, well we were out the back of this big bar.
It started filling up as time went on, a mixture of all sorts (but no other City fans)

Some family types and a few dodgy lookers and quite a few wannabes, we a fair bit later on Morty came in laughing and said they all mobbed up outside giving the coaches the big one, so we drunk up and walked out, and there must have been around fifty of them there abusing all the Cardiff coaches as they went passed.

Well we weren't looking to wade into them (but There's always that chance ) and one of our boys said what's up lads, and the Forest boy not clocking what was going on just turned and said "the f*cking sheep shagger are just arriving" and one of ours in the best valley accent said "get everywhere don't we" well you could have heard a pin drop, then a few coughs and splutters and they looked more embarrassed than scared, mind you there was seventeen of us standing there, and I was one of the smallest so perhaps they thought there may have been another twenty of us around the corner, so they just melted away back into the pub.

It was mad really because we had been hiding, all of us to fat and loud to hide, and they hadn't worked out we was City for over an hour or so, dopey Scab twats.

But that's how it was, we weren't looking for trouble, just a good day out, but it is a lottery and wrong time wrong place and you could be looking at jail or banning orders for something that happens every Friday up here more or less in valley land.

I do find it funny when hooligans talk about all these off's they would try and arrange, now I ain't bragging and I'm not proud to say it, but me and those I have travelled with have never arranged a scrap, but we have found ourselves in plenty without trying, perhaps there's a moral there somewhere.
