My Grandfather Edgar was a first cousin of Dorothy Squires, who back in the day wa a famous singer and full on party socialite girl. I only ever met her twice and the second time is worth a story on it's own.
Well anyway, it was Dorothy who was then referred to as my Aunt rather than my tenth cousin twice removedwho discovered Roger Moore as a young good looking toyboy who went on to marry her and then get introduced into big time acting and James Bond for a number of years.
Well obviously a bit of artistic licence was used by my goodself to turn Roger (the man I never met) into the bestest closest Uncle on God's earth, as you do.
Didn't stop me getting the odd hammering off the bigger boys though, f**k me they must have been hard, they weren't even scared of James Bond coming to get some payback on my behalf.
True story.
