No it's not a hdmi the cable you want is this depending on your computer coutput connection

the thing is you would still need a audio cable as the dvi and vga cable only gives you video

Myself I would plug the cable from the computer into the VGA socket on the telly ( if you have a pretty modern tv) and then run your audio cable so a vga to vga or a vga to dvi depending on your pc

I got a bluetooth connection, you plug the small unit into the telly get the laptop to pick it up and Bob's your uncle, f*cking wires everywhere do my head in. :old:

Depends on connection.

If you have a HDMI slot on your TV and your PC use a HDMI cable straight up.

If your TV supports DVI then use a DVI cable as your PC will definitely have a DVI port. Then you will need to set up your sound through a different output as DVI does not support sound.

The other option is VGA which your TV is unlikely to support.

Probably the most expensive option is a HDMI to scart converter with a built in upscaler. Obviously, if your PC has a HDMI slot and your TV only has scart sockets this is the best option.

HDMI to HDMI is the best option buy far and is the easiest and will give the greatest picture.

As for wireless transmission through any data communication type there will always be distortion or a chance of interference which is why I prefer wired setups for TV, music, gaming, etc. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Most lcd/led tv's have a pc monitor lead input, use that for the picture and pc speakers for the audio !

I just use a HDMI, plug it into your computer on one end, and your tv on the other. Free footie on your tv :D
