Ex City Player takes over the Ninian Pub

Paul Sugrue who played a handful of times for Cardiff City in 1980 is the new proprietor of the Ninian Pub and seems he means business the Sign outside the Pub is gone and it looks like a major refurb is underway inside the pub .

He has a shared partnership with Eric from the Duke of Clarence with Brains also funding deal.It will be a texas steakhouse during the week and they will allow footie fans in on a matchday.It will be totally refurbished mate.

It's got massive potential if they can attract people there during the week but being between Canton and the Sand Martin is going to make it tough. It's possible though.

Surprised to see that according to Wiki he only played 5 games for us.

I know he wasn't here that long but I thought he'd played 20 or 30 games for us

I think thats the main problem with the ninian, its dead in the week.

Paul Sugrue he's better than me and you sing Paul Sugrue. Remeber him getting a brace at Exeter in either a league cup or Texaco trophy game late 70's ?
