Sinclair ent a bad striker.. imagine them 2 in this division.

Sign him in January to replace Helguson

Always thought this guy was quality when he was banging them in for Swindon, great striker.

Surely out of our price range though, he is better than Jay Rodriguez in my opinion and remember Burnley demanded £7m for him even though he has one year left on his contract.

I was actually fortunate enough to interview the scout (Ken Ryder) that worked for swindon and introduced Charlie Austin to the coaching staff. Have it recorded to go in the next issue of The Dugout Magazine.

Great interview where he speaks about watching him twice and seeing his movement/goals scored. Then sends down another swindon scout without telling him who he was to be watching. Ken then received a call after thirty minutes of the game with the scout saying - "it's the tall dark striker! he's scored three already!" - loved hearing about this.

Amazing to think he was in the same district team as Theo Walcott and he still didn't get noticed... dropped all the way down the leagues, got set back by Bournemouth a few years a go, signed for Swindon and will no doubt be in the prem soon!

Would love to get him in but wont happen. If as Annis said Malky has £4 mil in Jan then that wont be enough, even without blowing the whole budget on one player. This'll be his last season at Burnleh though I'm guessing - maybe in the summer
