I am still to be convinced of Mackays abilities to me a top notch manager,i still think he has a long way to go,and would be better off applying his trade at a lower level, but you cant argue with results, they speak for themselves,so i will continue to give Mackay the benefit of the doubt, and pledge my support for what he is trying to do...........for now anyway

Yeah true. League cup final and play offs in first season in charge with a small budget, losing 13 players from the previous season. Having to replace these players also, then his second season currently top of the league. Simply not good enough!

He does show moments where you think he's not good enough, but he's a very young manager and one of the best in the country for his age. Give him a couple of years and he'll be a top manager. Just needs to be a little less picky in the transfer market IMO.

Fully has my backing though and always has :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

He was picked over shearer and di Matteo so there must be something about him which caught the eye. I read the posting thoroughly and replied the way I did when at the end you finished off by saying '.... For now anyway.' What do you mean by that?

He was not picked over Shearar and Di Matteo.....both of them turned us down.

This season is going to be crucial to Malky.

I'm sure annis said that whitely didn't give di matteo and shearer another interview before? But yes you're right, it will be crucial but he hasn't had a bad start to his managerial career has he.
