This Tuesday how will you feel

Sun Sep 30, 2012 11:27 pm

That for the first time in over 90 years the away team will play in our traditional dark blue and white kit ?
Two teams have played in a light blue so far but not our old blue kit.
I am not stocking the re branding I am asking how will you feel when both teams run out them in our blue and us in red ?

i think it would of been worse if it was the 1st game of the season but i think a lot of people are getting used to the red kit at home now, which is quite scary because i dont even give it a second glance now during the match

That's sad to hear mate coz every game it rips my heart out. But I feel confident one day we will be Cardiff City the bluebirds in blue white and yellow.

Going to feel very weird. But at least it's a cold night game so hardly anyone will have their red shirts on show. Most people tend to wear black/navy jackets for these kinds of games :D :ayatollah:

I'd be more concerned if we played in Blue :o as we have yet to win

Re: This Tuesday how will you feel

Actually Tuesday is the one home game in a season that we will play in Blue, so Brum will have to wear their away kit, so us playing in Blue means we will lose, as Blue is unlucky

I can't see a why back to us becoming blue unless someone like Sam comes back.

The rebranding, in my opinion, was done by rich people who are out of touch with the fans and don't care one iota about our feelings. It's not really important in the great scheme of things and I've tried to convince myself it doesn't matter, but it does. I'm just hoping that we can get promoted this season and have an opportunity, at the end of the season, to persuade the owners to have a change of heart.

My son is a 4th generation CCFC supporter and we've always played in blue (until this season) and we've always been The Bluebirds, ever since my grandfather started supporting them in the early part of the 20th century.

Dont give a monkey's toss just hope we play well and get the 3 points :ayatollah:

Just as cold- i hate sitting in the winter evening games.

There are more important things to worry about in life than the colour of a shirt- the badge is a disgrace though.

Re: This Tuesday how will you feel

Mon Oct 01, 2012 11:54 am

It will not bother me because theres nothing we can do as fans about it or it will drive you mad thinking of it over and over so just roll with it, 3points thats all i want :ayatollah:

Re: This Tuesday how will you feel

Mon Oct 01, 2012 12:27 pm

Won't bother me. I got over it a long time ago :ayatollah:

Re: This Tuesday how will you feel

It's an acceptance for us all now pretty much.

As long as we win :ayatollah:

Same as since the start Nukes, I wont like it, but to be honest, the Kit Change is just one of a number
of things I dont enjoy about Football these days.

When we get to the Premiership it will be even worse, ill do one season then Ill probably jack it in for good.

Re: This Tuesday how will you feel

Not bothered - wouldn't have even realised if you hadn't mentioned it. :ayatollah:

I feel like that, too. My son may influence whether I continue to go or not, though!

Well I'll be supporting the team in Red it's called Cardiff City and is still the club I have supported for 48 years. :old:

Mind you I thought Cardiff "Traditional" kit was Royal Blue and White and not Dark or Navy Blue as Huddersfield wore on the first game of the season.

We are just fans and should concentrate on doing our job of supporting the team and manager, like the vast majority have been doing all season at home.

3 points is all that matters on Tuesday.

Ive gone past caring about the rebrand, we cant change it, and ive realised life is too short to whimper about the colour of a sports kit.

Yeah, leeds away kit was closer to our old colours nuke

After the football ive witnessed last 2 games I cannot grumble.

I now realise saying "Id rather be playing non league and in blue" was utterly ridiculous.

Theres a buzz in the air down there this year ive got to admit.

As roath magic would say, the prospect of free flowing entertaining football with great players seems tO have made most of us 'accept it'.

Your not the only one hating it annis, but what can you do about it and we always come back with the same answer, NOTHING. Thats why i've given up hope of anything being changed because even if we do have red seats next season and the bluebird is taken off the badge still there would be nothing i, you, or dai down the road could do about it, either we stop watching or roll with it, thats why im rolling with it or it could drive me nuts constantly moaning about it does not help me at all with stress levels. What i have found is the passion/feelings i once had is on its last legs . :ayatollah:
