Does any one see the change of CEO

Sun Sep 30, 2012 6:26 pm

As good for the club?

The way I see it is VT is bringing in his own group that know how to work with each other and have had success together. I see he is using the same guy, so guess we have lost another wage bill. I just feel that over the last few regimes we have not had a complete unit fully running the club. It will be interesting to see how it all goes, and I do believe that VT will take more of a back seat once all the problems are ironed out. The only concern is them finding a football guy to work with them behind the scenes. But again if they get someone they want I feel it works better than people being forced to work together.

Others on here may have a better insite to who is working together now, and how the management team works. Also what the history on Limm is...

I will say it now & stand by it, just my opinion. No I dont see it good for our club, bringing in Malaysians to run the club, who have no idea about a football club or the area etc etc.

Only time will tell as they say.

Sometimes, yeah, like with Jones for instance. But most clubs will have someone else take care of the buying so the manager doesn't have to shit on a player in the negotiations.

annis. a full malaysian board wont happen overnight, because they havent got the experience of running a football club. but they are taking in all the info. may be next year or in 10 years time this club will be a full malaysian board controlled club. is it a good thing? well. i think some of our board members are in this game for status reasons. not money.the malaysians are here to make money. so should run better i think?

Out of interest, Annis what do you think of Simon Lims dealings in the past and what grounds do you feel he won't be a good CEO?

Peter Lim can't get involved to Langstone cleared. Coming in to do the job themselves.

Annis, bringing on board Peter Limm who is a close friend of VT, and a multi Bilionare himself, has got to a positive move, these business men are not billionares by chance, myself I think that they do have a plan, and it will be a good one for CCFC, getting Sam's debt sorted, will probably mean that PL will come on board as an investor, as you say only time will tell :ayatollah:

I see it as nothing but a bad thing, replacing Alan Whiteley, a man who had the best interests for Cardiff City FC at heart and pushed for the Bluebird to stay on the badge, with Simon Lim, a man who doesn't care about our club and has nothing but the best interests for Vincent Tan. I agree with Annis that the whole board will be Malaysian soon, and these Malaysian's won't be doing what's best for Cardiff City, they will be doing what's best for Vincent Tan.

Simon Lim and VT can give us all the money they like, but when it comes to the time they want their money back, will we be in a position to pay them back? VT has invested 6 million for shares and the rest of the 94 million he will loan us this season to cover his 100 million "investment" comes with 7% interest per year. Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't that mean we will owe VT 7% of 94 million - nearly an extra 7 million each year on top of what we already owe until we fully pay him back?
