Malky - a lesson learnt?

Sat Sep 29, 2012 7:03 pm

This week, like last week, we were two goals up at half time but the difference in which we approached the second half in each game gives me real hope that Malky is willing to learn and adapt when he needs to.

Last week Palace came out all guns blazing in the second half. They had to as they had nothing to lose but City were sitting too deep, seemingly trying to defend what they had and when Palace got their first goal the momentum changed in their favour and there was an inevitability about the way we lost the game.

Today though the team were determined not to let Blackpool back into the game and once the third goal went in early in the second half we were able to see the game out comfortably with us looking more likely to score more reather than Blackpool coming back into the game.

well done Malky. With the attacking quality we have in this team you can afford to be a bit braver away from home and let the opposition worry about us a bit more rather than give them any encouragement by sitting back inviting them on to us.

I agree we should be more adventurous away from home and let the opposition worry about us.
