Whittingham - 2nd ever Cardiff City player 2 play 4 England?

Just wondering - think it could be possible? I would certainly say he is on good enough form to be considered. Was around about this time of year that people, including myself, were talking about the possibility of Bothroyd getting a call up. Of course, after he got his cap, his play took a massive dip in form, but I think he was always more inconsistent, so that would be less likely to happen in Whittingham's case, I think.

I don't think he'll ever play for the England first team, he's quality and we all know that but he's too old in Hodgson's eyes, if he was say 24/25, he may have had a chance

You're probably right, but Bothroyd a similar age when he got his cap.
