I went to Palace, and Millwall.

Millwall played quite well, especially first half. But so did we. Attacked as a team, defended as a team. Millwall lacked quality in the final third. Whitts was further up, and scored a great goal. As did Noone. So we won :ayatollah:

At Palace, 2-0 flattered us at half time. The warning signs were there. Second half, they tore us to pieces. Completely overran our midfield, leaving our defence very exposed. Palace did have quality in the final third. The penalty decisions are red herrings. We were well beaten. Whitts was played very deep. Bellamy did not look interested, and missed a good chance. Noone was on the bench. Mutch was injured.

It would be tough on Connolly to be dropped. As I said, the defence was left very exposed. Kev had a torrid time. Hudson did OK, but was under a lot of pressure. Point I'm trying to make is that all of them need to take responsibility for the second half at Palace, not just Connolly. My guess is that Turner will be back though.

Hope so ristey. Really missed Mutch. Noone and Kim came on very late, and while we did not exactly threaten Palace, at least they added a bit of life to a very tired side.

I'd like to see Turner back with Connolly moving to left back.

Taylor worries me defensively.

we could also put both mutch and gunnersson in the centre and have whits infront of them, pack the midfield

Connolly isn't even left-footed.

Taylor has done as well as anybody in the back four this season.

If we are going to play 4-5-1 I would rather Kiss come in instead of Gunnarson and have him and mutch behind whitts
