No chance at all in Cardiff going up this season

Mon Sep 24, 2012 8:02 am

Cardiff City have played 7 games so far this season and we have had "Just one of those days" or just "an off day" or "just one of those games" TWICE already. Bristol and Crystal Palace. We have ZERO chance of making Premier League this year FACT.
Some would argue Huddlesfield as well.

I love the City but am being realistic from the games I have seen

so if your saying we've started poorly and we're only 3 points off top, how we gonna do when we hit form. the sooner the negative comments go away, the sooner the players are more relaxed without the fans on their back, the sooner we reach the premier league

With the investment we have had we should be running away with this league.

Time will tell

Agreed, but do not expect the "go support man utd" or "your a tw*t" to see past the mist and fist pumps. If we lost vs huddersfield and brighton which we should have lets be honest you wouldnt be having the normal name calling replys CCFC the defensive team thats all we are these days bar a HANDFULL of games since last jan i can remember us playing well in, even millwall had a good few chances to put away, only sat gone palace put away there chances, if the other teams had done what palace done and took there chances then this season we be much worse off already points wise but we been really lucky up to now, why im a realist not a dreamer like most on here, MOM marshall in 3 of them 7 games that says it all with MM set up :ayatollah:

What, you mean like West Ham and Leicester did last season

The comment you make is just plain uneducated. On that basis Man City should win the Prem for the next 10 years :?

Until January we just need to stay in touch of the top two, it's after that things start to get tasty and where we've failed previously. Personally I'd much rather finish the season on a good run than start it, even the play-off winners tend to be the team with form at the end of the season.

To ensure an auto we need to average 2 points a game, at the moment we are 1 point off that so let's keep a sense of perspective shall we

I dont want to be a pedant, but every team in the division has a chance in going up this season - a 1 in 24 chance in FACT ;)

By the way we are the only team to have beaten Huddersfield...

Danny - Sorry cannot agree with you.

Last year Reading had "One of those days" on several occasions and were in the bottom half of the Championship. They went on to win the thing.

We've had a couple of disappointing results but we are nicely placed.

I think we will get to the play off semi finals again this year, but easier than last year, i think we will probably just fall short, but i think Malky will be on the right track.
Promotion to the premiership is best if built up to, so we can sustain it if we get there, i recon it may take another 3 or 4 seasons yet, however not sure if that will be with Malky or another more experienced manager :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

 But that will make 7 or 8 seasons of building up bearing in mind the seasons we've been in or around the play-offs so far

Personally I think we have enough to do it this year, depending on January transfer activity, but at most I would think Malky has this season and next to do it.

Are you serious ? Words fail me :o

We have a very good squad of players that have beaten wolves (promoition contenders), leeds united, millwall, to finish in the top two is a tall order but top six is easily acheivable so that gives us a 1 in 4 chance of reaching the premiership so your words ZERO chances and FACT is nonsense :ayatollah:

We should be grateful nobody has run away with it straight away and that any team up the top end can lose a game. :ayatollah:
