WHO WILL STEP UP TO THE PLATE?????

Firstly, i would like to wish Nicky Maynard a speedy recovery after the devestating news broke yesterday, i was gutted and felt sick when i found out last night, to me he was nailed on for at least 20 goals this season, someone we've been desperate for at the club over the last few seasons, already this season his running and hounding of defenders as been first class, plus he has already directly created three goals along the way, so where are the 20 plus goals going to come from? i personally think they will have to be shared between Velikonja and Mason, in my opinion, they are both more than capable of getting 12-14 goals each but not 20+ on their own, with Whittingham looking at getting 20 goals again, (he's already got five) then we should be ok with the likes of noone, bellamy, smith etc chipping in with 8-10 each, there is no getting away from the fact that Maynards loss is a huge blow to the club but it is now a case of who wants to take on the responsibility, lets hope there are plenty of takers.

Maybe, but is there anyone available who is as good as Maynard, or in fact better than we already have??
